  • Cambodia , well the Mekong river has some beautiful green pit vipers . Sort of like a Asian amazon . I want to go visit Srok Khmer lol

  • neet

  • ???

  • i like the song

  • New species?

Errr sorry folks, rats, spiders, snakes. flowers, centipedes, bats and lizards were discovered ages ago. Now ure just splitting hairs...

  • @RetardPwnage well yes and no, thats like saying when we discovered the capybara it was just a rat, so we didnt discover a new species, just a rat...these are all new species found within the last 10 years that may have been FOUND but not marked down or sampled and saved ( in image form or otherwise) so they werent scientifically found...sounds wierd but trust me its not splitting hairs :)

  • @RetardPwnage A species is a different type of animal all on its own whether they belong to the same family or not. What you're saying groups all of those like they're not different from each other. It's like saying a black widow spider and a small wolf spider are the same exact species..

  • not to offend anyone but to be honest this type of music gets pretty annyoing just to be honest

  • Doesent seem so special there werent anything that special animals and Btw to all you guys there Allah isint name of muslims God it just means God

  • That's terrific but I'm just a bit worried that this also means 1000 new menu items in the greater mekong.

  • what is dat snake at da end called

  • a green pitviper

  • no offense but these creatures already existed in the lives of the native inhabitants..so how is it "discovered"? just because americans "discovered" about it doesn't mean those creatures wasn't there...aishh..

  • The Natives know they're there (as in the Native Indians,) but that doesn't mean anyone else knows about them. They haven't been documented into science, which makes them 'discovered.' :)

  • Um asians discoverd all these animals bozo.

  • hes supposed to have two eyes! XD

  • the dragon millipede looks cool

  • the snake at 0:51 looks pisted and funny

  • There is all these species and so many more that need to be discovered.

But unfortunately we don't treat our planet too nicely...

I made a video called 'One World..."

Check it out and tell me what you think, Just trying to make a difference...

  • Why are species only "discovered" once white people know about them? Weren't the locals selling the rat at markets?

  • yh132, You hit the nail on the head. How the fuck you going to discover something that wasn't lost?

  • Yeah, they were never lost, of course, and the local people may have known about them, but until now, they had yet to be described by the scientific community and determined to be good species. Researchers must conclusively show that they are not subspecies, races or hybrids of other known species. Once they can show this, they can officially be called distinct species. This is what they mean by "discovered"

  • I guess that "never seen before now" is the new defination of new.. maybe you just haven't been lookin' in the right places or didn't look at all and they have always there.. who know..?

  • lol

  • Quoted from Yahoo:

These included the world's largest huntsman spider, with a leg span of 30 centimetres (11.8 inches), and the "startlingly" coloured "dragon millipede", which produces the deadly compound cyanide.

Not all species were found hiding in remote jungles -- the Laotian rock rat, which the study said was thought to be extinct about 11 million years ago, was first encountered by scientists in a local food market in 2005, it said.

  • What a exotic Gumbrecht Green Pitviper (Trimeresurus gumprechti). What a such beautiful flourecent green. I would also appreciate a video of all the newly discovered animals and exotic plants.

  • I want pictures of all of them! soo cool!

  • omg that pink millipede is insane

  • dude that pink millipede isnt an ordinary one w/ regular poison! that things sqirts cyanide! CYANIDE of all things!!!!

  • its called a dragon millipede- very poisonous

  • what kind of rat thing is that at :18

  • It's a Laotian rock rat.

  • This rock rat is at 0:42.

  • No, that's a newly discovered blood sucking bat (the biggest), according to the news in yahoo.

  • The Laotian rock rat (Laonastes aenigmamus) was first recorded by scientists at a food market in Laos. Remarkably, researchers say this species is the sole survivor of an ancient group of rodents understood to have died out 11 million years ago.

  • i want a video with all the animals discovered
