I really didn't think I'd like Screamworks. I thought it would be really commercial and "safe". Now that I have it I can't turn it off. They did a lot of clever and tricky little things on this album. It's eye-opening, really.

to all the comments about the 'still audience' maybe they actually wanted to be able to see the band perform and look at them and have a recording of them seeing as its the first time they'd heard the song, plus its not really a 'jumpy' type of song anyway and jumping around banging into people would just be annoying!

Not all music is made for moshing. I saw HIM back in 2005 (it was their second ever US tour) and I was just not impressed when the people around me began moshing to "Join Me".. I mean yeah, some movement is OK, but not moshing.. and not to "Join Me". I saw them in 2004 (their first US tour), and it was awesome.. no moshing, no getting squished or getting shoved into someone's armpit. Leave the moshing for the Metallica and Offspring crowds.

Honestly, in my opinion this song isn't that good. It sounds to me like they are attempting to get back to their roots somewhere along the lines of Love Metal and Razorblade Romance and have missed the mark by a long shot. Cherylyell - if you want Love Metal, then listen to Love Metal. This is about as close as old HIM as you get. Yes it sounds american, cause they recorded it with MATT SQUIRE. Listen to some of his other bands, and you'll get the idea. I love the new direction they are taking, you need to change it up to survive, and they did a great job especially at Helldone.
