@Everything4Tech i just changed from xbox to ps3 and i dont get why i had open on my xbox but not on my ps3 :(

@andygranis like @BrianPeppersx said, every device usually has different port so basically different doors to open. The ports for the xbox were probably fine the way your router setting were and *what doors were open*. Im not expert on this stuff but im sure this is a common issue. I had the same issue going from XBOX to PS3 as well but hopefully after watching this video you were able to fix this issue.

If you have a BT Home Hub 2 do not even attempt this. It completely f#cked the connection between my router and PS3 so I couldn't even get online, let alone change my NAT type.

This is a very poor guide unless you have a D-Link Router..

Mine won't budge off strict, I did a full power down of both the Router and the PS3 after Port Forwarding and yes I did change the Static IP in the PS3 to match that of what I Port Forwarded.

Any Suggestions?

Hi do you have any advice on what to for 2 ps3's in the same house. I can only get one to have Nat Type oen and the other is either always moderate or strict.

@faz7862 unfortunately at this moment i dont know a way to fix that problem. I have encountered this issue while trying to open the nat of 2 xboxs in the same how and I currently have this issue because my brother is playing MW3 on pc, it works sometime but that is because i have a ps3 and he has a pc. I'm going to look into this further today and try to find anything I can to help.

@faz7862 sorry for the really late reply but there is a way to do what you are trying. when you make the static ip do one .50 and one .51 and make the port range for the ports you forward 50-51. good luck
