Why are we concerned with the BS? I just want to enjoy some kick ass old time rock and roll by people that had more talent in their fingers than ANYBODY you might here on today's radio.
George Harrison had more talent in his little finger than anybody you'll probably ever encounter. Does Blanckfrack denot your lack of taste and knowledge of music?
Aside from the fact this is a wonderful version....I thought I would set the record straight. The Bass Player is Mark King. One of the best bassist around. Check him out on youtube...
Look at around 1:44 and you'll see that outrageous auxillary percussion player on there, playing the tamborine and trying to make it appear complicated. Sheesh! He was also on Clapton Unplugged MTV. What's up with this guy? I hate it when they use tons of these extra guys playing like that and then you don't even hear them in the mix and you don't really miss them either.
I know!! I saw him here and I was like wtf...then I saw him in the unplugged and it was like wtf is he doing here again? As far as I see he does not contribute to the song at all, he probably doesn't even know how to play the tamborine....then again he might be the best musician out there, you never know, but sheesh...
fan-tast-ic!! but for someone so used to bein in the spotlight how nervous does george look!!(specailly wen compared to Ringo) but excellent footage, always great wen so many legends get together
Please tell me that's not Dauber from the show "Coach" playing the bass?

Well I guess we're talking about taste. Mine is different than yours. I still think he was a helluva talent and this is a great song.

Ok, it sounds like he has a cold or something; certain tonal qualities are missing.

George sounds like Roy Orbison when he sings the "middle 8" ("I don't know how you were diverted...")
