  • Please tell me that's not Dauber from the show "Coach" playing the bass?

  • Why are we concerned with the BS? I just want to enjoy some kick ass old time rock and roll by people that had more talent in their fingers than ANYBODY you might here on today's radio.

  • Well I guess we're talking about taste. Mine is different than yours. I still think he was a helluva talent and this is a great song.

  • George Harrison had more talent in his little finger than anybody you'll probably ever encounter. Does Blanckfrack denot your lack of taste and knowledge of music?

  • Aside from the fact this is a wonderful version....I thought I would set the record straight. The Bass Player is Mark King. One of the best bassist around. Check him out on youtube...

  • LOL the tambourine player steals the show.

  • his voice changed as he got older

  • that's George, but that's NOT his voice ! it's someone else dubbed on ...

  • No, sorry...that's George...

  • Ok, it sounds like he has a cold or something; certain tonal qualities are missing.

  • george your hair is bigger than all of us.

  • Look at around 1:44 and you'll see that outrageous auxillary percussion player on there, playing the tamborine and trying to make it appear complicated. Sheesh! He was also on Clapton Unplugged MTV. What's up with this guy? I hate it when they use tons of these extra guys playing like that and then you don't even hear them in the mix and you don't really miss them either.

  • I know!! I saw him here and I was like wtf...then I saw him in the unplugged and it was like wtf is he doing here again? As far as I see he does not contribute to the song at all, he probably doesn't even know how to play the tamborine....then again he might be the best musician out there, you never know, but sheesh...

  • well on unplugged he plays alot of other drums, check out the vid for tears of heaven. Hes got toms or somethin

  • thats a geo harrison lookalike! trust me!

  • I'm also pretty sure that is Klaus Voorman on the bass.

  • Clapton has always played on this song, he is the crying guitar.

  • Sorry, I don't speak english. I reply in spanish:

  • fan-tast-ic!! but for someone so used to bein in the spotlight how nervous does george look!!(specailly wen compared to Ringo) but excellent footage, always great wen so many legends get together

  • i like shred guitarists like steve vai, malmsteen and Impellitteri but to see these guys soloing brings tears in my eyes. Beautiful1!

  • and Phil Collins, and Jeff Lynn, and ????

    VERY cool!

  • George and Eric playing the solo together at the end of the song...AWESOME and FANTASTIC !!! Two legends indeed!!!

  • George sounds like Roy Orbison when he sings the "middle 8" ("I don't know how you were diverted...")

  • Very good version.

    Thanks for uploading it !
