The player reminds me of the Toshiba HD-E1 Player in its looks and design so hopefully someone will be able to hack its firmware so it can play HD-DVD

Even in China, few people have ever seen the CBHD player, and most Chinese have not heard of that before this year, me included. Cos there are still a great number of fanilies do not have a HDTV placed in their lounge.

Tempted to get one of these as I've always thought Blu-ray (technically speaking) sucked monkey nuts (just like VHS back in the day). Just had a look on eBay for CBHD, and absolutely nothing is showing up though. If I did buy it from you guys, I'd really need to find a second place to get films from just to put my mind at rest.

The only technical failure of Blu-ray is clunky Java.  Everything else about BD is superior.
