  • wowow whats this about dumping uranium on irag afgnistan yugoslavia and florida?

  • OmG i need go to chernobyl To Steal Some tanks and Helicopters :O

  • lulu7777 i think your wrong ...in 100 yearz itz posible to live there ...the radioation molekules will spread and the radioation will be really weak ...in 500 yearz there will be plantz and animalz ..i hope...:I

  • @LoLzCodLover No Your are wrong, The demolished the Trees and buried them, and Some other things, So the Will still be Irradiated. The Prototype nuclear reactor that was there Was filled with extremely Irradiated Material. And there is no way to stop it from slowly leaking, So no there is no possible way Withing the next 500 to 1000 years it will be inhabitable for more than a hour. And your probably a little Kid you Cant even Spell molecules right even without spell check.

  • Can you walk around now in that ghost city without getting any diseases or something like that?

  • olol Time Machine to 80s Communist Russia.

  • 20 years and them choppers and trucks are still in good condition you dont get build quality like that anymore

  • Chernobyl Homer made a big doh'!

  • You see this is why I love Call of Duty and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

  • @thegreekweegee why, is the radiation collected in the moss or something? And there are still 2000 ppl living in chernobyl!

  • @Kimpa445 chernobyl is not a town. lol.

  • god the upper picture on the right is so gross I want to vomit seriously that is awefull....

I know I should not complain but it haunts me so much cause i know its real D:

  • YOU DONT DIE BY GOING INSIDE OF CHERNOBYL

  • @Kimpa445 You die by stepping on the moss.

  • They were only trying to run a test. :(

  • I'm sure Justin Bieber is the cause why Tchernobyl had a nuclear accident

  • @MrThekillerFR WTF dide what do you have agenst jusin beiber i dont like his music but i dont hate him go smoke ur pot an listen to dubstep dipshit

  • @EXO903

Dubstep is far better than Bieber, and please learn how to write. From your comment it seems as if you're like 5 years old or something.

  • @MrThekillerFR

Bieber wasn't even born when the accident happened. It happened because the boss dude was yelling at the reactor monitor dude constantly and the reactor monitor couldn't concentrate.

  • because they are contaminated with radioactive shit.. thats why.. !!

  • i was diagnosed with leukemia on my 21st birtday, grew up in romania and was told most likely cause was this ukranian accident that took place and affected kids like me who were newborns

i was lucky tho to have treatment and have it not be as debilitating as it was for others even if its still and inoperable cancer

i have come to believe that people will never learn from past mistakes. japan is seeing the same stiory repappen. please people...petition these stupid plants before they crop up

  • @alextheromanian its not so much nuclear power that is the problem, its people in general, it was through human error and bad decisions that caused the chernobyl disaster, and fukushima was caused by an earthquake and a tsunami, i dont know why a nuclear power plant was put in an earthquake prone area in the first place but there ya go.

  • Because they are all dissabled and won,t work anymore!!! But nobody want,s to have a high level of radiation comming from a chopper of other verhicle!!!

  • @pacmanghost bcoz does chopper are radio active lol mayeb you should get one :)

  • Wohnen noch dort welche ?

  • Pretty cool to see that so many years later, I hope they never touch that stuff even when it becomes safe again, that is a moment in time in history and it would be a neat tourist attraction.

  • @jflor98 definately agree, it would take 200 or 500 years to suyrvie or regain normal life

  • The narrator has a sexy voice.

  • you sir, look really like a virgin.@JasonJason210

  • @JasonJason210 Oh,i got a boner !!!

  • Is that the tourist guide talking? Soundz like it...

  • Yes, actualy we can learn something from this disaster. Never turn off cooling system on an nuclear reactor just to see how it will behave! It will behave like reactor 4 did!

  • ur a stupid hippie fuck! go nuclear power!

  • why havent people stolen those choppers yet?

  • @Pacmanghost Try same reason why people can't live there? Everything there is radioactive and helicopters are not an exception

  • @olvanish shit bro, i'd risk a little radiation for a free helicopter.

  • @Pacmanghost lol those are probably pretty expensive too. They only made about 1000 of them if I'm not mistaken. They are Mi-6's-- the only choppers I know that have wings lol

  • @Pacmanghost go ahead hop in, after that you got two days to live you stupid pile of shit

  • @JohnFord6466 haha wow dude, anger problems

  • @JohnFord6466 besides, id wear a radiation suit. qed

  • @Pacmanghost I agree, I'd snipe the narrator and take the chopper.

  • @Pacmanghost covered in radiation still

  • @Pacmanghost they have to much radiation

  • @Pacmanghost Useless they have not been mantained for 25 years they can be repaired but the Ukraninan athorities do not take kindly to people that take things from the zone.

no matter how big or how small

  • @Pacmanghost because most of the vehicles are still giving off mass amounts of radiation. if you were to sit in one you would probably get cancer.

  • @Pacmanghost

Is this a real question? Because they are contaminatet with radiation...

  • @Pacmanghost can't tell if trolling of just retarded

  • @Pacmanghost take your contaminated chopper which likely doesnt work into somewhere clean and contaminate it, prepare to be buttfucked in prison

  • @Pacmanghost No shit lets go get em ?

  • @Pacmanghost because its radioactive and it would be no use to anyone :))

  • @Pacmanghost Oh they have, lets just say, one is missing, and I'm losing internet connection right now.

  • @Pacmanghost Why WE still didn't stole thos choppers yet? WTF are we waiting for?!

  • @Pacmanghost why? they don't work and have high levels of radiation since they were used to clean up and drop off sand.

  • Am I the only person that would live one of the helicopters only if they didn't have that history or radiation

  • I thought it would take 300 years for the radiation to decay? Or is it 1000 years because apparently the reactor is still burning?

  • @god0fgod 1000 years.

  • wow bush had quite a random selection

  • 30 people lol

  • Господи, да причем тут Буш или Коммунизм или Капитализм... это

человеческая трагедия, которая могла произойти где угодно

God, where does Bush or Communism or Capitalism ... it

human tragedy that could happen anywhere

  • IT will recover no until the 23rd century according to specialists.. By then the earth will NO longer exist..

  • @europeandancer

How do you know that ? don't trust specialists. No one is a specialist. The guys working @ pripyat thought they were professional and specialist at what they do , look at the outcome.. It's unpredicted.

  • @LAZrailkapinda They have the knowledges to know more than us this is why I trust what they say.. And it makes sens, it will be a very long time before anyone can ever go back there living..

  • @europeandancer

That's true.. I read that no one can live there for 1000 years ???? is that true :o

  • @LAZrailkapinda Hmmm more like a couple of hundred years.. The ground is still very radioactive and nothing could grow healthy out of that soil..

  • @europeandancer The earth will exist until the sun blows up. The human race will not exist until some random bullshit goes down and blows us the fuck up.

  • @Bbgood299 Ah yes? Well mate I got the info for u: climate change predicts the end of the world in an hundred years from now and see for urself, it's written all over the books so unless u did researches about it I suggest u go and study what will really happen around 2100..

  • @europeandancer Climate change predicts that the world will change. Not be destroyed. This world will change back to nothing but lava and it's iron core before it is destroyed.

And yes, I have done exactly 661 minutes of research.

  • @Bbgood299 Fair enough and I agree there, I mean "end of the world" as end of the human race or massive deaths in the billions.. Sorry for missinterpreting my thoughts.

  • Thank God they took the time to neatly park all of those vehicles.

  • i love how this video has no relevance to Bush at all and people on here are bashing him regardless

  • i seen the real explotion

  • The description is incorrect, RADIATION will be in chernobyl for another 48,000 years, but humans may begin to repopulate the area in 600 years.

  • @coolyaid

I'd imagine the average life expectancy would be considerably low there even after a few hundred years

  • @Aidref Yeah, unfortunately.... It's a tragedy.

I actually did some charity for chernobyl children last year

  • i cant stand when people assume depleted uranium is deadly because of radiation. its used for large caliber ammo because how hard it is. if it was that bad i would be dead by now.

  • @floydian218 You're wrong. It's not hard at all, it's like lead, soft and very dense. That's why it is used, to make very heavy bullets with lots of kinetic energy. Penetrator tip still needs to be some hard metal, like tungsten or wolfram.

Depleted uranium in a chunk is hardly radioactive, if you hold it in your hands. However, once the bullet hits the armor or a building, all those sparks go off. That's metal that is evaporated or powdered on impact - like rifle bullets hitting steel plate ..

  • @floydian218 Problem is if troops come in contact with the target and inhale all that dust. That dust is bad in 2 ways. Uranium is a heavy metal like lead, mercury ... and if it gets into your body, it's toxic. That's why all deformed babies. Secondly, while it is hardly radioactive on the outside, when a particle gets into your cells, it's so close to genetic material and the weak radiation THEN does serious damage. Otherwise air stops radiation, inside the cell nothing stops it

    Quit soldiering

  • @floydian218 And I forgot to add, DU is harmful to all the people who continue living in the area for those same two reasons. They come in contact with it either by cleaning up, touching stuff or it gets into food years later.

  • I'll be damned, thats the garbage level! where is bes?

  • OMFG just let ppl there and let they play FALLOUT 3 or STALKER...

I will be one of em !!

  • 200 years actually

  • its the Garbage in a game that i own

  • @ruan6774 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. right? awesome game :D really great atmosphere though. It makes you feel as if you were in Chernobyl.

  • @wowsux97 yes. you beat it?

  • @ruan6774 No. I just spent about 20+ hours on adventuring and saving up money finding artifacts and stuff :D

  • @wowsux97 i hate go to underground vaults. because it have bloodsuckers and others kind of scariest mutants

  • @ruan6774 I know. I dont play Shadow of Chernobyl that much. I play Clear Sky alot more. Its better.

  • @wowsux97 cool

  • no more stupid humans to pulute animals life

  • lmao, she has foreign accent

  • can radioactive metal be incinerated or remelted and will it go away.

  • @MyMIXmedia that would cost loads and will be almost impossible

  • can radioactive shit be washed down by water.

  • whats a bike got to do with this???? rubbish theyre are only a few hundred dead but many more cancer

  • there no cancer risk by going there ?

  • Except for the pollution, it's beautiful!

  • ur english is just horrible ))))

  • @Cesario82 I live 27 miles north of Fort Drum and there is no sign of Cancer rate and no reports about any Uranium storage in the Air Force Base. It's 8 to 15 miles Northwest of Watertown (city) If they are storing the Uranium, they would not Storage less then 60 miles from a dense population city.

  • your smoke detector has radiation. oh shiet, it was bush.

  • depleted uranium isnt radioactive. Thats why its called DEPLETED uranium. Its very mild not reallyu above natural. It is toxic tho! but so are a lot of chemicals used in war. Im just saying comparing depleted uranium to chernobyl as if its radioactive is just retarded

  • @bl4h1 Problem is, after you shoot stuff with DU, people inhale it and get seriously sick.

  • @spiritguide64. Uneducated, poor spelling, ...it matches your opinions. LOL!!!!! Do you know what i mean? Probably not

  • Bush and his minons can dump wat ever they want were ever they bloody want idiot

  • @spiritguide64 hey an update since you have been living in a bomb shelter Bush is not president anymore

  • "Bush mafia dumped 3000 tons of Depleted Uranium on Iraq, Afgnistan, Yugoslavia and Florida!"

What the hell? This is a total scam.

  • That's how the whole world will look after WW3 :(

  • is chernobyl safe yet if not will it ever be

  • it will be in 1000 years

  • @clarinetstar14

In 20.000 years it should be safe to live there again ^^

  • it is stupid that you visit pripyat because every where is still infested with radiation so if you wanna have kids the chance that they will be deformed is 8/10 so, unlucky

  • oh..the reason why no one takes them is because they are infested with radioactivity, so if you were to even touch any of these vehicles or w.e. you'd get sick haha

  • why is there junkyards of like vehicles and items and such? because of the radiation within them?

  • atleast tr to start one of these helicopters!

  • Are all those helicopters just deserted?

Someone should get them and sell them :D

  • who would? no one will, cause the helicopters are infested with radiation :l

  • RICHIE SPEED!!!!!!

    :D

  • @richiespeedisback they are filled with radiation

  • Bush dumped uranium, yea right ya moonbat.

This guy knows what a dumbass he is that he hasn't signed into his channel in over a year!

I'm no Bush supporter, that's for sure!

But it would take a total moron to believe this stupid shit!

  • Apparently the world has gone crazy.. you can tell any wild conspiracy stories as long as you link it to Bush (or America, you choose) people (mostly in Europe) will believe it... It's pretty tiring...

  • pretty huge badass looking choppers over there. I would not be surprised if one of them still functions somewhat properly, if somebody, well equipped, managed to fuel one of those up and fly them off, i would give them a medal of badass.

  • BUSH=SHIT!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @badattitude77769 Are you gay?.

  • umm to the info in the top right, how did bush drop Uranium in Florida??

  • @john21992 Tanks use depleted uranium rounds. They are used because they're so massive, they can penetrate almost anything. They don't explode like bombs, but they do leave radioactive dust.

  • @john21992

Depleted uranium is just that: depleted. Only the uranium isotope U235 is radioactive. Depleted uranium has been stripped of the 235 isotope and then used for large caliber ammunition because of its density. It is not very radioactive.

  • @john21992 lol

  • depleted uranium is what they in anti tank missles . 3000ton would wipe out millions . like he said 50 tons from chernobyl .....this reached uk, us , canada and all over europe are traces ....3000 tons come on.........

  • Eh, Uranium is pretty dense, and was widely used as armor piercing ammunition.

Though it was never 'dumped' anywhere.

That said, it's not very radioactive, being composed of U-238 instead of the less stable U-234. However, it is a pretty toxic element, about the same level as lead. It's fine to handle, but you might want to think twice before grinding it up and and inhaling it.

  • BUT

The minimalist part of uranium as dense metall is VERY VERY toxic!

So if its in the ground water you are DEAD!

  • Can I smoke or inject it?

    Nah, just joking XD

  • @Asifyoudidthat

    Agreed.

  • I dont know why you've been down thumbed so many times for your comment. I dont agree that Bush was a 'great' president, but he certainly never dumped 3000 tons (or any) depleted uranium. The entire Chernobyl fallout was 50 tons so this guy is talking even more shit.

  • No, you don't. But that is a good way to win this argument, so keep talking.

  • Where is this location on google earth?

  • Pripyat, Ukraine is the closest city to the Chernobyl reactor site.

  • it's here:

    51°09'14.95"N 29°58'53.98"E

  • I find it a unbelievable that nothing burnt down jet. One field fire will burn down all of those things.

  • this machine graveyard is same in stalker series

  • 600 years... waw big difference from 100 years and im sure me and u will live till then or find out what happens heigo :P

  • i read that you can live there after 600 years

  • why is everything rusting but the helicopters look brandnew?

can one just go there? or is there a fence around the area and you can only go there with autorisation?

  • all those cars/helicopters were used for disaster and there highly radio active

  • Those helicopters have flown recently. I have seen what these look like when they have been left out in the elements for a couple of years. There may be an evaluation team there checking the area or something.

  • i think because theyre made of aluminium but cars are made of steel or sumthing like that what takes rust

  • Exactly. Choppers are sitting there since 1986, other vehicles were put about a year later after the clean-up operation they were still used for.

  • troll

  • Why all the hatred? Did Daddy walk out on you as a child?

  • I love you.

  • the people who builded those concrete barriers in chernobyl to prevent the radiation from spreading were true heros and should not be forgotten. these people sacrificed there lives for the well being of all of us today.

  • Looks like they've been using this as a parts yard.

  • do you think the helecopters fly around when no one's watching?

  • yes´the vehicles are running good,with 500 mSv!!!

  • do these vechiles still works?

  • the probaably do, but they were just left there because they are all highly irradiated

  • they probly do but since they are highly active they keep them there to tease us

  • Capitalism - like the kind Hitler was fond of - control of government by private corporations - is twisted evil, too. Look at the millions of slave kidnapped from their home and thousands of them murdered by Europeans, Americans, and basically the whole world. Nationalism is responsible for all the unjustified murders of which you speak. 2 million in US prisons. Of those killed by Marxist governments, how many of them broke the law? Maybe all. Stupid to blame Marxism but not nationalism.

  • Evil exists everywhere and in all people. Stupid and unnecessary bigotry to condemn all Marxists (the people) and Marxism for their heroic struggles against slavery and deaths in the coal and textile industries. Karl Marx's "Das Kapital" is an incredibly brilliant book. Nothing in there telling women not to vote or that blacks should be slaves, unlike all the conservative philosophies that have specifically tried to maintain selfish petty unfair cultural traditions.

  • If I made blanket comments about Nazism that were applicable, I'd suffer criticism only from devoted neo-Nazis.

I think it's fairly applicable to blame Chernobyl on the corrupt incompetance and anti-Ukranian prejudice of the Bolsheviks ruling the country at the time. I'd only expect to receive criticism for it from the die-hard neo-Marxists still stubbornly clinging to this abhorrent ideology.

And honestly, I couldn't give less of a damn about how Marxists feel about my honest criticism.

  • DrCruel is correct. The marxist government (sorry dictaroship) had a separate atomic commision that knew there was serious flaws with this reactor type design and there was hushed up incidents in plants operating the RBMK like Ignalina (think 12 in total accidents). And guess what? They still allowed them to shut down and test an unstable reactor Chernobyl. If this is marxism for you that nearly ended this planet, then what is capitalism and nazism? Communisn is twisted an evil!

  • @johnmcluskey You sir, are an idiot, and you have no idea what you're talking about. This disaster had nothing to do with communism. The government was to blame for this, those people. Not "communism". Communism is just a beautiful idea, that doesn't work because it's in our nature to be selfish...

  • @ztev13 umm bud look up north korea and tell me that cummunism works

  • @coalandnuclear I said that communism does NOT work, bud.

  • @ztev13 Communism in part can be blamed, because the disaster occured while by my information, politically appointed people were in while testing something that should never be tested. They shut off water pumps to see what happens and it they can run on aux power. When they turned them off and back on, everything went straight to hell as water boiled up, evaporated and exploded, and kicked all the uranium and plutonium around. State also didn't warn people for a few days.

  • Comment removed

  • @johnmcluskey You're really so naive believing this? The only difference between communist and capitalist states is that the communist save money because they just don't have it, and the capitalists save it because they want to get richer as they are anyway. Do you really think Mr.Burns cares about your health?

  • @johnmcluskey Haha.. Communism has nothing to do with a power plant being badly designed. Communism is how you run economy and plant design rests in hands of engineers.

  • I have no intention of being "careful" when speaking about Marxists. I've already had enough of their death threats.

Better to fight their lies now than let them get strong again. They've killed enough people as far as I'm concerned. The lot of them should be tried for their crimes and hanged.

Marxists were responsible for Chernobyl - not the little guys, but the leaders. They should have been brought to account.

  • Blanket blaming of an ideology, real smart one :-D your the smartest guy in the room, maybe you can enlighten us with some more broad sweeping generalizations. Hi-5! Please spew some more unsupported facts, hey you know what they say about arguing on the internet, even if you win your still retarded. :-D
