Heh, I also made one on my Amiga 1200 with Protracker 2.2beta. It featured vocals and rendered almost just as the original. My module was 1.3mb and lasted for 3:45. Maybe I should upload playbacks of all my "CD" remixes from the Amiga era hehe
@Snowwie88 So what? i don't know anyone from my generation who even knows what a tracker is, if the guy had just done this in some music production suite he found on his favourite torrent site, followed a couple of youtube vids, then uploaded the song as a remake just by using long samples... then that is just shit and pointless, but the fact people can still keep mid 80's - mid 90's style of electronic music production alive regardless of the level of skill, is good enough for me.
@Snowwie88 i agree 100% mate, im not saying its high quality piece of electronic music, i mean quality in a yorkshire way of being pretty good lol. tbh this is pretty poor, it is what it is, a load of samples put togeather to basically remake a song... but the fact this guy would have had to have an amiga, all its peripherals/midi modules.etc, program an akai, a midi keyboard all im trying to say is, least there are still communities and people interested in oldskool music production.
@Snowwie88 i know mate, ya can see that from the vid. All im saying is at least he took the effort to learn how to use it all, learn how to program an akai sampler.etc the song is pretty poor, but at least it keeps the oldskool vibe and music production alive. If this had been made with a torrented copy of FL or Ableton and uploaded to youtube as a full remake, then yeh definitly a pile of turd, but it hasnt, and thats my point.
i dont understand what he is doing...he just plays the song from the e.p.the instrumental version

@as7r080y let's review shall we?
Sampling original sound recording without permission from copyright holder: check
Publishing unlicensed infringing work based entirely upon unauthorised samples: check
Failing to comprehend UK and US copyright law: check
STRIKE THREE, YERROUT ;-)
Unfortunately simply putting "all copyright to The Prodigy", "no copyright infringement intended" or "this is not mine" doesn't work in court.

cool project, where did you got the samples from? From "Firestarter" or did you tracked down some originals?

@Roth2308
Nothing special.
Just sampled from original son, splitteed up and just re-organized.
No real composition work was done here. So - nothing special.
Wanna hear real compositions which was realy done key for key
with solo-instruments, then watch my channel.

Actually it isn't. He just recorded long lasting samples and placed them in the tracker.

@Core2lee91
Well, my point is, many people here talk about the 'great quality' of this song, while this song is basically a recording from the original.

@Core2lee91 by the way, he said he made it in the 90's - so back then it was just like doing it on an iPad now.
