One reason is because that park wasn't even finished so they used WDW footage because they share similar attractions (Phantom manor, Big Thunder Mountain, Star Tours, MSEP, Captain EO)

The actual Disneyland Resort Paris was originally called Euro Disney. Nowadays is very different with new atractions, new places to hang out (Disney Village) and another amusement park - Disney Studios.

I went there maybe 6 or 7 times and i'm never tired. I feel like a child when I cross those gates!

And of course I remember this fabulous clip in the end of Little Mermaid VHS! Good times when we're kids and these things seemed really magic!

I can't believe I uploaded a commercial for EuroDisney in 1992 and say it was the first ever one, now I feel real dumb. ^^; EuroDisney rules, I still go there today and it's always real, real fun.
