softwares for tuning makes you avoid all the usual tests. Why not, but those test have a high importance when it comes to have the piano in tune with itself. Not to say they cannot be used but one tend to avoid all the tests because it disturbs the software. In the end you do only "software tuning" and it is poorer musically.
It is normal that the middle string fall in tune when the outer strings are tuned to the same frequency, but it is better in my view to use the middle string for pitch and the outer strings for the sutain and opening of the tone. Also tuning without listening to the resonance of the notes lower is not providing the best tone ( your high treble notes are not lively, to me) I'll make a similar video whenever time permit. (papps mute is a hassle on a grand) .
I've never seen anyone use a Papps Wedge on a grand, maybe you should invest in a rubber wedge for the treble therefore eliminating the percussion of the Papps Wedge.
