Great version; however, it sounds like a lot of the percussion are electronic drums, and the female background vocals sound like they're keyboard pads.

All in all this is a wonderful version.

Hi, Keyboardman88... thanks... I'm not sure if Ivan Lins band used electronic drums. I went back to cd for info. (revised my info by posting all the personnel and instruments). All I can find is that in a review of the cd, it mentions this song has more of an "electronica" sound as compared to the rest of the songs on "Jobiniando." Glad you enjoyed though and saved it to your favorites! : )

Except for the electronic sounding percussion, I like this version a little better than the version by sting...which I also like.

Paula, this is absolutely a magnificent video! You find images evoking Brazil like no one else I've ever seen. There are really some unforgettable shots in here, including the hammock over the water, the reflection in the eye, and easily a dozen more I could name but it's more fun to keep watching and watching!

I love how this modern romantic ballad from the sound we love most. The way Ivan breaks with his stylistic monotone in order to pour unabashed passion into the word "walks" is super!!
