i can't pinpoint any specific reason, but this video was fascinating. you took an ordinary (but still neat) trip to kagoshima and made it feel almost surreal. you gave it a mood - i'm not sure what it was, but it gave me a hint of that weird feeling i get when i watch a david lynch movie. keep 'em coming.

When I was over there me and my roomate went for a long ride in the mountains between Misawa and Amori (sp?) and stopped at a rest stop for a drink. THere were a few japanese tour busses there full of people. THey just stared at me and my roomate like we were 2 monkeys in a cage. Ya get used to it.

@sauron1grenoble definitely the 1968 one. The 2001 one is a waste of time. Although, there are a lot of great cheesy dialogue moments in the 1968 version. But, that's what makes it a classic.
