Great Album, bought this on tape.

  • SHOCK TO THE VAGINA!

  • Corny video.... Like billy idol though...

  • Sokkold a rendszert !!!!!! :)

  • I never got why the Cyberpunk album flopped. It's such an immersing, atmospheric science fiction cyberpunk story. And who would be more suited to tell/sing the story than Billy Idol?

I always thought he has a perfect futuristic cyberpunk appearance with his white spikey hair :-)

  • @KingHaggis the world was not ready for cyberpunk in those days.

  • Billy Idol the numbah 1

  • Love this album. CyberPunk should be a genre. Zeromancer would fit in it.

  • @theghost767 it already does...

  • As long as there are computers/robots/technology trying to control us CYBERPUNKS will always be around.

  • Just cause we live it doesn't mean Cyberpunk is daed as a genre,,,

  • What's a terminus zone yall?

  • @ironwolf Who really cares about genres? In my book there's 2 kinds of music. It either kicks ass or sucks ass. This song is definitely one that kicks a lot of ass.

  • you guys are reading into this to much ,the video and song both represent technology like the video camera and how its affecting the way people see the truth about the system -Rodney king police beatings cough on video and how the power is in your hands.

  • Good song.

  • if i were billy idol i would still seriously consider having a lot of cybernetics implanted into my body, and i would change my name from

    'Billy Idol' to bILLybORG+

  • ok...so this is how it goes the guy heals his hand and then his face gets messed up and then the turns into the terminator robot ok i get it now jking this vid is fked up

  • Tetsuo: The Ironman a bit of an influence on this, by any chance?

  • Speaking of Cyberpunk, Pris from Blade Runner is at 2:31.

  • Cyberpunk was a great CD. This song was good, but imo there better ones.

  • genial la puesta en escena

  • Ohh.. dang... *blink Blink* ....a nightmare in a dream. that was Freaky and yet interesting ;D

  • Hey I wanted to see how this video was made. You know, besides gluing a bunch of circutboard pieces to his face and using cutting edge stop motion photography.. LOL

  • I would enjoy more Cyberpunk forms of media. Dues Ex 3 is going to be a awesome addition i Hope.

  • babe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice video xD

  • No I think cyberpunks the shit

  • get the purple dildo out from in between your buttcheeks billy, you can't sing

  • this is a creepy and weird video.

  • @ironwolfosiris I completely agree... I think that Cyberpunk was one of his best albums as well

  • the day that Billy met Terminator......

  • Geekdraz, you are a god damn fucking idiot for disabling the embed code for this video! Really, what fucking good does that do anyone?! Asshole!

  • he is always sexy but i really love him with spikes.

  • video is funny and weird but it is a very good song

  • Bloody good!!!

  • I remember when this video premiered on MTV, and later that evening saw Tetsuo the Iron man, talk about psychic occurences...

  • I love this .BILLY ROCKS !!!!!!!!!

  • My fav BI song. You have to get up & dance. Rock on, Billy

  • I got this CD in third grade. haha

  • actually this came out in 1993. and it fuckin rocks!!

  • 3:35 he's like a British Duke Nukem. XD

  • got some baddass hair in this video

  • THIS was music......

  • cyberpunk !

  • I actually have the original CD/Diskette digipak.

Truly cool album that is vastly underrated.

  • HARLEYTHENOVA JAJAJA ESTA BUENA ESA SI YEAH que se vallan a calentar con Britney spears que de paso esta bien buenisima y a jugar Pokemon jajaja cyberpunk yeah PROTECTMAN1138

  • ::Ahead of his time that cyberpunk-album, i remember it came out with a 31/2" diskette, but no one had computers at home. Great video

  • This song really stands out from the 90s, it's as good as if it were from the 80s! Turn up to max volume when playing and drive fast!

  • the 80's still alive dont never forget it dreamwarrior AWRRRRIGHT

  • Hell yeah. Hey you ever play the side B of the single? Bad ass techno version!

  • Yeah, it's cool, but the original which is more rock is still better

  • Billy at his best

  • Love this song! I have this album on a cassette/cd! Great/hilarious video!

    ROCK ON BILLY! :D

  • great song and video

  • I remember seeing this as a kid. Watching it again, it looks like it was heavily inspired by Japanese cyberpunk like Tetsuo Ironman and Burst City.

  • The director of this video needs to do neuromancer.

  • No way! The director of Britney's Toxic video should do Neuromancer!

    Oh...

  • cyberpunk!

  • adoro sto canzone come adoro alla follia billy!!!!!!!!!!!

  • De la bombe atomique ce titre et ce clip !

  • et un rentre-dedans impitoyable pour cette saleté polluante qu'à été le grunge

la meilleure chose que cobain a fait sur terre a été de se flingué

  • You're right about that, I agree!

  • Luvn tha spikes!! :)

  • whoah billy idol looks alot like spike from buffy the campire slayer and angel

  • Billy Idol rocks!! I have a rare video of Rebel Yell on my channel! ROCK ON BILLY!!!

  • 0:58 They beating shit out of Billy..:)

  • Originally Billy had to play T-1000 in "Terminator 2" but he couldnt do it because of his famous bike accident. Anyway, most of the songs which he made for T2 (and which had to be the original soundtrack) were realised in this album. Including "Shock to the system".

  • Awsome video! I love this guy!

  • pretty well.this song is cool

  • Whoa, Max Headroom rocks.

  • This is all time favorite Billy Idol song.

  • Song from a fantastic Album, should have been a massive hit

  • Am I one of the only people left who think that cyberpunk as an actual genre is still completely relevant?

  • The visual representation is obsolete in many ways, but the concept will always be relevant.

  • @ironwolfosiris No, I'm pretty sure it is.

  • @ironwolfosiris not sure if it's still relevant, but I would like it to be.

  • @ironwolfosiris you are right but it should never be brought out onto the mainstream like Billy tried to do with this album. cyberpunks have always belonged underground and unseen

  • @ironwolfosiris Thats funny me 2 ;) it incorporates all of us but we live in future shock, so most of us fail to see it

  • @ironwolfosiris It is just becoming relevant now. This record is so SO ahead of its time.

  • @ironwolfosiris Some also note that Dale Bozzio is so much better than Lady Gaga, lyrics writing, fashion, artist, the whole bit. Dale Bozzio wrote lyrics about people and being a displaced artist, not this illuminati bullshit pushed by the US corporate entertainment media.

  • @ironwolfosiris cyberpunk has become bastardized by lame ass poseur goths, the matrix and shit.

  • @ironwolfosiris hell no, still very much relevant. pity not much has been produced of late.

  • @ironwolfosiris It stopped being relevant when we started living in it

  • @johnnystulic42 you do realize what was happening while this song was being made. This is as relevent now as it was then.

  • @ghosty158 yeah but now we've got android phones and other cyber shit. the world was always "punk", but now it's "CYBERpunk" :D

  • I am in the group that says this album was ahead of its time. It is one of my favorites, though I think "Venus" or "Wasteland" are my favorite tracks.

    Thanks for the post.

  • HAHA I remember seeing this as a kid and thinking whoa so futuristic.

  • I think he may have been influenced by the japanese film Tetsuo: The Iron Man.

  • I think he read Neuromancer

  • I love Cyberpunk!! I think it's Billy's best album and is so underated!!

Check it out if you haven't already!!!

  • I definitely think it was well before its time - great album - but you really need to listen to it in its entirety, as it tells a story.

  • the great stan winson did the effects

  • I think it's safe to say that he was also inspired by Robocop.

  • haha yeah, he has the neat camera lens in the hand trick down pat ;P I love it!

  • this song kick ass

    2:14

  • They must be really strong to lift up a guy who's half robot. :)

  • This song was underplayed, I think.

By far one of the best Idol songs, I simply LOVE the guitar in the begining and whatnot. <3 ^^

  • HAHAHA SELLOUT

  • my fave idol CD. one of the best songs off the album too.

  • Lemme guess...

Billy watched "Tetsuo The Iron Man" before coming up with the whole "Mechanic Man" portion of the video

    Awesoem song, though

  • Billi Idol have the greatest videos of all the times.

Hot videos, future videos, powerfull videos.

    Viva Billy Idol baby! yeah!!!

  • GOD I LOVE THIS SONG AND THIS VIDEO!

    =] Billy Idol is amazing!

  • how distopic, i love distopic cyberpunk 80s style..i remember watching this vid when i was a child: i loved it!

    the mutating part was awesome!

  • there are no words for just how cool that video is..i cant watch mtv anymore with the crap they show,80s were the best for music and movies..billy should of done a cool b list movie half naked or all the way whatever..

  • awesome video, but the guy randomly mutating into a cyborg scared the shit out of me

  • he´s HOT !!!

  • yeah! can u imagine? at kindergarten, i wanted to be him...singin his songs and spikin up my hair like him. my uncle encourages! heheheh! way cool!

  • haha im 14 new music is bad so i like older music

  • I like the music and the screams.

  • if it's a Billy Idol video, it's definitely interesting! remember DANCING WITH MYSELF video (the one with zombies)? now this Terminator-Hellraiser? awesome video, ryt?!

  • yuum i loove this song =)

  • Pretty bold to release a song during the L.A. Riots period...ABOUT the L.A. Riots. Considering the state of race relations at the time, he could have gotten himself killed for this.

    Man's got balls. *applauds*

  • its funny because you probably havent done anything creative, EVER!!!

  • What's really awesome is that in reading your post we see how fuggin pathetic you are.

    What have you ever done?

I bet this man has more talent in his pinky than you have in your entire body.

  • one of my favourite songs by him!!!

    WOAH!!!

  • GREAT BILLY!

  • One of Billy's best!

  • shit this video reminds me of athens in the end of 2008 :P cool

  • yeah, GREEK RIOT!!!

  • The creator of Billy Idol music is a genius...

  • What makes this cool (in my opinion) is that Billy had the ball to do somthing outside his comfort zone. Many musicians continue to do the same things over and over, but he went outside the box. Legend.

  • I find this song very interesting. Listened to it first when it came out in the 90s. Very strange. The song has indeed no body or shape, but then again, that's what makes it interesting. I think this is the album most of us tend to forget.

  • i love this song, yo era bily

  • Billy Idol did not invented that visions, he just popularized cyberpunk. Do a search about William Gibson.

  • Billy idol is the shit..this whole album was ahead of his time...visionary for real! lots of drugs and he could see our future..

  • Truly ahead of its time ,,, meanwhile Kurt Cobain and all the other boring grungies were revisiting the ancient and bigone era of "pub rock" and "folk rock"... (all this circa '93)...sigh...

  • For real. Tis true!

  • ahh the good old days

  • ahead of his time with this entire album

    fucking visionary that billy

  • Alguno recuerda el video del ladronazo de Leon Gieco en el cual copiaba este video? Creo que era el clip de "El fantasma de canterville".... me dio vergüenza ajena cuando vi que estaba copiado tal cual.

  • like an alternative version of Tetsuo : Iron Man Film

  • My sentiments exactly!

  • What a surprise, cops beating up innocent people :o)

    Great song from Idol.

  • Note how Billy Idol does "The Matrix" skin bug critter before the Matrix ever came out. The Borg/Cyborg thing was already around but the mechanical bug that enters the guys' hand was done by Billy first.

  • it makes me laugh and all happy! man, what a song! :D love it

  • This song makes me wanna punch a couple of music moguls, so called nowdays bands, tv station owners, politicians, reptiles and so on. I hope, the world will burn to get rid of the shit some 'people' have created l8ly 4 us 2 dumb us down....And the World will burn yeahhhhhhh shock 2 the System finally

  • Anyone got better quality version? This one is too pixelised.

  • he is still hot

  • A song whereby I clench my face like my hands. Savageness!

  • best album!

  • I want the 80's and 90's back! All we get now is R&B ghetto pimp bling bling shit and stupid boy band new-metal crap.

  • Amen to that!

  • Double amen to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  • There was a lot in the 90s I didn't like too, like grunge rock. But this boy band ghetto rap crap today is simply sickening.

  • Finnish cartaxes x amen to that too :)

  • If only the entire world would admit that... Amen as well!

  • nice cooooooooooooooool

  • the 80's and late 80's procuded the best artists of all time.
