Even though I'm sure you know this by now, that "meter" is called "active time battle" or more precise, thats what the battle system is called which is used in many squaresoft/Square Enix games i.e chrono trigger and of course the FF games (FF2 / 4 ->)
nice playthrough though =) thought most had played FF 3 (6)

Rats are so common enemies in rpgs that they should always be expected. =D
Interesting name choice for terra..
Anyway watching this playthrough is more interesting than some others cuz you havent played this before
