@DruDixon777 This looks like a really bad copy of the original, and it appears someone has attempted to enlarge it a fair deal - increasing the blurriness. The original footage is not anywhere near as blurry as this version. In fact, it's quite sharp. It caused quite a stir when it came out back in the 90s because it was such a remarkably clear video. It's a shame it turned out to be a hoax.

the video ends too abruptly, unlike the patterson video where the creature disappeared intot he woods, this video just stops. two angles are taken indicating plenty of time to shoot. seems deliberately out of focus when plenty of time to adjust focus. shakey-cam while standing still. every indication this is faked.

If such a creature did exist, there has not been enough research nor has there been a legitimate attempt to capture a live specimen. Many hunters have had encounters with the so-called bigfoot and not one has even fired a shot to try to actually take a bigfoot in order to put the legend to rest and finally discover the creature if in fact it is a creature waiting to be discovered.

Neither has any credibility. The Patterson film was shot by a well known conman and liar who had a history of faking bigfoot evidence. His own brother in law, Al DeAtley, admitted the film was a money scam and fake. In the memorial day footage, you can actually see the young man taking his hood off at the end of the run.

I think you need to rewatch the special again. It showed that the sprinter EASILY matched the time. In fact, he beat it by a WIDE margin. As for Freeman, he admitted that he was a bigfoot hoaxer on "Good Morning America" back in...I think 1982.....may have to look up the exact date. I haven't found any evidence of bigfoot to warrant belief in its existence. More on the memorial day film: you need to see the unedited version. I'm not sure if it's on youtube anymore, but you can hear the people in the background laughing about how it's a "small white boy" and how drunk they are. Also, by some funny coincidence, bigfoot freak Fred Bradshaw was present as well.
Also, did you ever notice how the bigfooters always try to come up with something to prove that it isn't a man in a suit? That's why you hear so many ridiculous arguments, e.g. it's too big, no one can walk that way, no one can run that fast, no man can turn his head like that, it's proportions are outside human limits, etc.
Ok. I found the facts. The athlete's name was Derek Prior, who ran the same route at 17.1 mph. The figure in the film ran at only 8.65 mph. That's not fast at all....terrain or no terrain.
I can run faster than that myself and I'm no track runner. You have to be careful when watching tabloid shows like Bigfoot, Legend Meets Science". Those shows are geared towards drawing in ratings.

There is no doubt in my mind that bigfoot exists but I believe this to be a fake because if you watch carefully at around 0.30 'it' puts out a left arm to steady 'itself' and is obviously a person.

They did tests regarding the memorial day footage where a pro sprinter was to run through the same area at the same speed-which he was unable to do. yes, although it proves nothing I still think it has some credibility. As for the patterson footage, if it was fake then it was done with serious detail in regards to the actual costume. What do you make of the freeman tape?

I think you need to rewatch the special again. It showed that the sprinter EASILY matched the time. In fact, he beat it by a WIDE margin. As for Freeman, he admitted that he was a bigfoot hoaxer on "Good Morning America" back in...I think 1982.....may have to look up the exact date. He even used his own dermil ridge for one of his bigfoot tracks! For Patterson, click on my name, and watch my video on it (it's only a few minutes long).

I watched your video...interesting. Again, if it was faked it would have taken a good amount of detail to pull it off as shown in your video. I take it you do not believe bigfoot exists?

I haven't found any evidence of bigfoot to warrant belief in its existence. More on the memorial day film: you need to see the unedited version. I'm not sure if it's on youtube anymore, but you can hear the people in the background laughing about how it's a "small white boy" and how drunk they are. Also, by some funny coincidence, bigfoot freak Fred Bradshaw was present as well.

Also, did you ever notice how the bigfooters always try to come up with something to prove that it isn't a man in a suit? That's why you hear so many ridiculous arguments, e.g. it's too big, no one can walk that way, no one can run that fast, no man can turn his head like that, it's proportions are outside human limits, etc.

Ok. I found the facts. The athlete's name was Derek Prior, who ran the same route at 17.1 mph. The figure in the film ran at only 8.65 mph. That's not fast at all....terrain or no terrain.
I can run faster than that myself and I'm no track runner. You have to be careful when watching tabloid shows like Bigfoot, Legend Meets Science". Those shows are geared towards drawing in ratings.

WRONG as always, komodoidiot. The footage was created for Paramount's UPN show, Paranormal Borderland, ostensibly by the show's producers. The show ran from March 12 to August 6, 1996. Fox purchased and used the footage in their later program on The World's Greatest Hoaxes. OWNED AGAIN. 0-)

Oh, by the way, your hero, Jeff MEL-DUMB first said that the footage was impossible to fake, but became increasingly suspicious of the dodgey behavior of the show's producers as he tried to investigate the matter further. He pursued it with UPN for over a year. Eventually, after Paranormal Borderline was cancelled, the producers finally outright admitted the hoax, and explained how it was done.

There are too many self proclaimed experts without any sort of scientific background. Anyone can achieve this with the proper education.
