That's a great question! First of all, how do you know it is a great person who is with the jerk? Everyone has got issues to deal with. And they are all attracted to each other. E.g. a man who is apparently a jerk may be exactly what the girls needs at this point to feel strong and secure. However a person who thinks she or he is perfect for a certain partner still might need to work on themselves as they may come off a bit too needy. Take a good look at yourself. I know you'll do well!

I notice that getting rich is so often mentioned as the thing people most want, and these "teachers" tell you how to get wealth. I just do not understand that. I'm not a millionaire or anything, but I have enough to live on. I cannot see having more money as bringing happiness. In fact, I sort of feel that money is a burden, a major distraction.

The law of attraction is very much to do with being aware of your emotions.Everything that makes you feel good does so because it's in allignment with the joy that your physical being is here to experience.In other words,when you are feeling good about kissing yr bf/gf, driving that car, staying indoors to read a book instead of going out,etc it simply means that you are in the right place to receive that which has been meant for you.When you're feeling good,it is your being that is at its best.

if you ever read the science of getting rich by wallace wattles, you would know why you cant think and win the lottery....im a real estate agent and my job is so easy because of the principles of the law of attraction....you really need to read more about this great and true law before snapping to judgements....its in the bible also so if you dont believe in this law of attraction then the way your life is will reflect that

there is an old english saying "what you see is what you get" - it has been corrupted over the years from the original "what you say is what you get" as in what you say to yourself inwardly governs what you get in life. amazing to think that 100's of years ago everyone obviously understood this to a greater or lesser extent., i wonder what else we forgot. thanks for sharing (and reminding us of what we already know but forgot) :-)

i'm having the same problem. sometimes it can help to listen to a happy song, or be around someone who makes you happy, or play with a pet. just feed off of the positive things/people around you. good luck :)

play a nice classical song or something that puts u in a good mood. go outside sit by a tree with ur headphones on a close ur eyes and just inhale the fresh air and just feel good you know? just think that you are the best and just feel yourself attracting all these good things

To begin to think positive, you must begin with self awareness including awareness of emotion.In your case, you sound self aware in that you have the insight of your struggle to think positive.No doubt, the emotion that comes from this struggle is negative,hence the result is a negative thought.For example, in your case, i'd say this:I know what I want (+ve) - which u do btw; then, what I want is to think positive. Then, start to see all those +ve's you want, ignoring the -ves.

you're half way on it. You don't make things appear out of thin air and yet you make them appear. Most people don't understand how things come to them. We have a material world where there channels through which things enter into your life - it's not about magic.

I recommend you to read Wallace D. Wattles "The Science of Getting Rich" if you are further interested in the creative process.

I don't know man, I needed a windshield, and ended up driving right through the center of a large piece of Glass, that fell off a Glass truck, and I ended up getting a Windshield for FREE out of the deal, I wanted a Train Horn, and a couple months later, there was a Train Derailment... hence why I have a train horn now, I've had a bunch of other experiences as well, but I don't have enough room, those are my biggest ones.

although the fucken Windshield they gave me didn't seal properly like 3 times, they finally fixed it, but I thought it was pretty crazy that I got exactly what I wanted, in such a crazy way.

imagine being in the right place at the right time, the right second even, driving straight through the center of the glass AS it was falling, before it hit the ground. and getting what I was thinking about for FREE.

and then getting a Train Horn for FREE, because of a friggin derailment.
