  • Guys use common sense please. ~ahmad

  • gonna try this on the stairs cuz my chairs are wonky and i'd fall over lol

  • this was just one of the many ways...you can try this on a step. Many tend to think they have to jump that high too...you don't...just start safe... I will make an easy leg workout...:)~ahmad

  • You are amazing!

  • sexy

  • (continued) ... in the next few days I'll actually start losing more considerably noticable weight and inches.

I would like to ask-- does anyone know any leg and butt slimming/toning exercises for GUYS my lower half is where i carry most of my extra weight. I'm just looking for some exercises to help me tone and slim down the ol' hips, legs, and butt. If there are any exercises that seem to work best for GUYS let me know.

PS: sorry for such a long comment.

  • (continued) For example, if nothing else my cardivascular health has improved. I remember when I first started this challenge doing my interval set workouts, i'd get winded like no other...but now i'm finding myself having to take less and less breaks. Also, since actually incorporating ab exercises in my daily routine my stomach is slowly looking better. Even some of the stretch marks I have have started to fade away/go away and that in itself to me is fantastic. So hopefully in the next few...

  • Just taking a look at your video. TOMORROW is my Day 14. One one hand i'm psyched that i've exercised 14days in a row.. I never would have guessed I could do it..on another hand I'm kinda 'disappointed' that my results aren't "drastic" like those poeple in informericals that claim they did such-and-such workut for so long and lost these many inches/pounds. In order to keep myself from thinking so negatively all the time I try to keep telling myself certain points , and thoughts and whatnot--

  • to be honest, i really don't believe 'drastic results' happen. and it's much better for you to make gradual progress, in the long run, and makes it much easier to keep it off.

  • Good routine....

btw. what is the song called ? :)) pretty please :)

  • it sounds like a remix version of "My love" by Justin Timberlake.

  • Hello Ahmad great workout..I did some strength training today alternating between my resistance bands and my weights for 12 minutes then I did cardio for 35 minutes.I think I did well but tomorrow am thinking about what I can do I know its about more cardio.I just wanted you to know that I am doing it and am motivated. Thanks again.I was watching QVC and Richard Simmons was on there and I was considering buying his DVD.I don't own any exercise DVD's but I do like alot of trainers.B.Blanks Whoa..

  • TRAPS workouts?....i want to build my traps from the front side....if anything please let me know....thanks!

  • thanks!!!

    more new ways plzzz!!!!

  • Five Stars

  • glad you liked it...thank you!

  • Thank U I am still hanging in there I listened to your advice about the protein shakes and I am not losing weight anymore My husband says my abs are perfect. I just might quit on U, I have achieved my goal.

  • woah, don't go quitting, you need to maintain all that good work!

  • thanks A!

  • hey no no dont do that i have lost 25 pounds since starting but i only pic out single workout s and add them 2 my routine and if ur gonna use a protien shake try whey protien wich will make ur abs look tighter

  • THANKS for pushing her!

  • p-l-a-t-e-a-u is the point you have hit...lets make it fun once again...time to get things feeling new again... try doing 2 minutes of abs followed by 2 minutes of one of my cardio clips...have two browsers open and pause the two clips. Go back and forth between the 2. I am making dvds of specific routines...will have it up soon...~ahmad

  • I keep thinking of the person that said you look like a cat, the way you jump up like that.

  • lol...sher I was just thinking before each jump, soft controlled landing...:)~ahmad

  • And that is exactly what you did!

  • I want to see the outtakes really.

    Thx Ahmad

  • half of me wanted a funny outtake...but the other half did not want to experience the pain...lol

  • Guess what Ahmad???? I can jump even higher. I can jump on my car. Im going to record it today. oh wait I got to c if I have enough for my deductible.

lol. this is very impressive. scary for me to jump on that stool though. can you c my big ass jumping on that little stool.

  • On your car??? You best be recording that. I wanna see it!!!!!!!! OMG...i just read the last sentece of what you wrote, Diana! I am gonna pee my pants. I am drinking a crapload of water today...be back....gotta pee! ha ha!

    Sher

  • you should try this on a small bench if you can...or a small step...hold onto your husband's shoulder when you try:)~ahmad

  • with those leg jumps, I would be on the floor or the hospital.

  • Marie...you are awesome for saying that... I was trying to challenge myself... will push harder and just as safe next time... hope you are doing well!~ahmad

  • That jump up on that stool was off the chain. You are awesome.

  • Cool, but you're nuts, LOL! That floor looks pretty hard to me. No mat if you do fall. YIKES!

Nice work, but I'll pass on this one and start a bit lower.

    Thank you.

  • I was thinking the same thing about that floor...it looks HARD, huh?

  • yeah especially when the wood legs are moving on the marble... anyway for me it was safe...I would suggest doing a very modified version of this...use a stair in your home...and start of slow...hold onto something if you need to...and work with time instead of reps...~ahmad

  • gets the adrenaline flowing and makes me focus more...especially with camera rolling... I want this clip to get a lot of views so I tried something outside of the box... anyway for me I knew all of my variables and have practiced this several times before...yeah I would suggest starting as I stated in the description w/ low stair in house...~ahmad

  • Everyone please Listen to the King.....Ahmad is a Professional. He's a god, a sexy one at that!!!

  • wow thanks...what workout did you do today?~ahmad

  • now look I cant do that lol

  • I assume several can't but I KNOW you could do it on a low step...be safe and carefully try once you have the strength... if you can't do the step...a basic squat jump will do as well,ok?

thank you so much for your post!~ahmad

  • Wow I d fall on my butt trying to get on a stool that high.

  • well starting low and building up OVER time is what allowed me to do this...take your time...and start with a stair in your house...work for time...30-45 seconds...ok?~ahmad

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • got some more clips like this coming...

  • all I can say is wow. I have seen Jillian Micheals use this on the biggest loser with 400lbs men and women doing it. I agree with mzebonny you have to have some cat in you. another great one.

  • yeah she uses it to shock the body to produce more growth hormone which in turns increases metabolism due to new muscle growth. It is a great move to sneak in on a low step every 5 minutes while doing cardio...thanks for your post!!~ahmad

  • I swear you are part cat because only a cat can jump on a stool and not drop!! I'll stick to the lower benches but I like the workout!! The last one will have to be done without weights for now!! Thank you for this!!

  • yes Trish do the last move without weight for time...like 30-45 seconds worth of motion...ok?

    thanks for your post...as always...

    ~ahmad

  • im using water jugs as weights will that help build muscle?

  • depends how heavy... I would suggest fatiguing your muscles first with body weight moves then the last 2 sets use the water jugs...ok?

  • lol. i saw how you snuck that pitiful little overhead press in there.

i know how the last one always hurts though...

are you buddhist or however you spell it

  • lol...yeah the last rep was a struggle...but I wanted to show a viewer that emailed me how to safely function even when your muscles say put the weight down...rest ...regroup...re-try... is how you get through the toughest of sets... thanks for your post!~ahmad

  • Thank you once again for more great ideas

I never thought about doing a squat and then lifting at the toes. That is awesome. by the way my shins feel better but I think for now on I am only going to jog on a thread mill.

    I can't leave without a little flirt..

    You body is scrumptious...lol

    Much love

  • Lol... I love doing the squats like this...it really becomes a comnpound exercise when you squeeze at the top.... thanks for noticing the details...

    blushing,

    ahmad

  • i've told you before about showing off Ahmad! :p awesome job.

  • Lol...well I was trying to impress you A...lol..

  • there's impressing, and there's frightening the life out of us! lol

  • Ahmad you are amazing!!! So flexible and muscular. Great abs!!!! I love watching the way you execute your moves. However, those plyo leg hops are screaming "Quadraplegia" and "head injury"!!! Hope you use a spotter.

  • lol

  • what you laughing at...LOL...~ahmad

  • 'cause when I first saw you jump, I was thinking the same thing...as a former cheerleading coach I wanted you to have a spotter too, lol...glad you have the skill and balance to pull this off.

  • lol...thank you...I only do what is fun and safe for me... the 30 days of workouts I am filming is to show folks what I do each day to challenge my particular fitness level. I am hoping folks have the sense to not do this if they can not even perform this on a stair in their home...lol.. thanks for your post!

  • you'd be surprise how dumb people are......they are my patient population: quads, para, and CHI..please keep stressing how dangerous the plyo leg jumps are. We know you can do them, 'cause you're Superman!!! ;)

  • wow...what area of medicine are you in?~ahmad

  • Man, you KNOW somebody out there is gonna be CRAZY to try that chair stunt and BUST their AZZ. Ahmad, that was impressive to say the least. How tall was that chair ? Also, where do you buy those black socks...I can't find them anywhere.

  • Well hopefully they read the description and see to use a low step or something sturdy..lol...Yeah to me this is a challenge...but I can do it...explode then control at the end...plyo is all about that...~ahmad

  • you can get the socks from target... the low cut ones...~ahmad

  • You are incredible. Whew!

  • Thank you for your comment...

  • Wow I echo Sher and cutechoclatechip lol. I was wondering if you are going to show the bloopers as well lol

  • lol...no bloopers.. worked up to that height...so its safe and challenging for me... no I would not want to embarrass myself online...lol...~ahmad

  • nice job keep up the videos

  • thanks!

  • Stop fricken scaring me like that. LOL I was holding my breath! I will try this...but not with a HIGH bar stool like that. I will do it in the morning though. I promise!

  • lol...I was holding my breath too...thanks for posting!~ahmad

  • You were so graceful though, on top of the stool. I was like HOW THE HECK?? LOL I am looking forward to working out tomorrow. Hoping week 9 is just around the corner!!! I am ready!....Sher

  • Oh my! i think i'll try this on my little stepper! lol!

  • yeah anything that is sturdy and wide will work...the curb after you finish your walk...be safe though...you don't want your neighbors laughing...:)

  • i'm wondering how m any people are going to send you vids of them falling! lol! :) that''s a darn high stool do you train people with that?

  • I'm just in time. I just logged on looking for day 14

  • yeah I was trying to get it up while people were getting home...~ahmad
