The 911 call of the terrifying moments after a Deerfield Beach boy was attacked by a pitbull was released Friday.

"There's a dog, there's a dog that's biting my friend and he won't stop, he's bleeding," the young friend of 8 y/o Nicholas Garvey is heard telling the operator. "Please send someone!"

"It's a pitbull, can you send someone please!" the boy pleads, barely able to be heard over the noise of yelling and screaming in the background.

How about all the stories of pit bull type dogs ABUSED by humans? Here is a recent story of one saving a woman. "A Georgia pit bull wouldn’t let his owner leave the house because he knew something was wrong. It turned out that the dog was trying to alert the man that his wife had fallen in their bedroom due to aneurysm". LOOK UP "Weela Pit Bull" who not only saved her kid but after hundreds of people in a flood". Get REAL Warloghe, STOP your fear mongroling and stereotyping.

@TheWarloghe Some Pit Bulls attack, no one is saying they don’t because they do- they don’t attack because they’re Pit Bulls, they attack because THEY’RE DOGS. Any dog can attack someone. Pits aren't even the most common perpetrators, they’re just most widely reported on because fools like you absolutely eat it up when they see headlines about Pit Bulls attacking. If you’re anti-Pit Bull then you’re anti-dog, it's sad that some people still can't see how dumb profiling is.

Don't cite snippets of stories that only support your ignorance. Was the dog socialized? spayed/neutered? abused? Any animal can attack...research.

I always give enough information for you to Google for the info. There's DATE, CITY/STATE, and description of the attack.

I could name at least 5 major points pitbull advocates lie about but I'm too lazy and tired.

7 honored for rescue

Deerfield Bch - A 13 y/o girl had her family and neighbors to thank for saving her when she was ATTACKED Oct 3 by HER OWN PITBULL while home alone, but the neighbors credited her with fending off the dog until help arrived.

"She deserves the biggest reward," Lamar McThay Jr. said. "SHE FOUGHT FOR HER LIFE."

Ah Warloghe you BSL Lobbyist you. Yes attacks happen and as there are millions of dogs in the US, so sadly incidents are going to happen be it human error or dog error. Now can YOU tell us how many human on human attacks? How many children have been hurt in playgrounds? Nursery products? How many murders? Car accidents? Children killed or abused from their parents? For this one dog attack there are MILLIONS of other similar LOOKING dogs that have never attacked nor ever would.

Dayton man attacked by HIS OWN PITBULL

OHIO -- For the second time in a week, area police are investigating a pit bull attack.

You are right dogs are NOT people and can't speak and tell their side of the story. They must depend on man to speak for them and if a man can get out of trouble by blaming something on a dog, in most cases they WILL and DO. Pitbulls cannot be "bred" to attack as they cannot be "bred" to talk. However they can be trained to be aggressive by BAD owners. They don't sharpen their own teeth or build their own treadmills or fighting rings. They are GREAT family dogs if raised well.

How about the OTHER side of stories War how about "pit bulls" SAVING people's lives and sometimes even giving up their OWN to do so. For every bad owner there are thousands and thousands of good owners MOST being woman! Google Pit Bull SAVES woman, child etc. Go to understand a pit bull and put in HEROIC DOGS. Again it IS about responsible dog ownership and not the LOOKS of a dog. Keep your agenda of killing based on appearance and I will continue trying to make PEOPLE responsible owners.

Small Dog Attacked, Seriously Injured by Pit Bull

A dog is recovering one day after being attacked by a pit bull on Wausau's east side. Four-year-old Ebony, a cairn terrier, suffered serious injuries.

So Warloghe how many other attacks by other dogs happened in the time frame you are speaking about? Are there pictures of the dogs available so their breed type can be verified or they have been mixes from the other 28 different breeds of dogs that are commonly misidentified, especially by media types? Oh and just because this incident occurred it does NOT mean that every dog who looks like the two dogs involved will do the same thing. Stop your fear mongroling and mass stereotyping.

@Fayclis Pitbulls are a waste of tax-payer money, a danger to the neighbors of pitbull owners, and are just ghetto dogs.

Shelters are FULL OF PITBULLS. They have to be kept separate because most are animal-aggressive and many would kill a human just as easily.

They're flying helicopters, police search, animal control, and have to close down a school and some businesses in Long Island today because some ghetto pitbull is loose. They should charge the owner of the pitbull, but they won't.

Waxhaw, NC Two pitbulls killed a young girl in Union County Wednesday morning.

Makayla's mother was upset that the media had called the dogs vicious, even though the dogs killed her daughter. She said they had ALWAYS BEEN FRIENDLY up until Wednesday's attack.

"She was SCREAMING NON-STOP, she would catch her breath--there were no words, JUST SCREAMS," said Bland who called 911. "It was like a horror film, just high-pitch squeals, a woman's voice, the SCREAMING JUST GOT WORSE."

2 pit bulls attack woman; off-duty officer shoots dogs

SURPRISE, AZ – A woman is in the hospital after two pitbulls attacked her in her driveway Monday night.

The pitbulls MAULED and DRAGGED the 72-year-old woman. The woman suffered serious injuries, including puncture wounds to her right arm and left thigh, and was air-lifted to a Phoenix hospital.

The dogs reportedly belonged to the VICTIM'S NEIGHBOR. It’s NOT CLEAR WHAT AGITATED THE DOGs and caused them to attack.

@PitBullAdvocacy A couple of years ago I came out my front door and yelled at a young man who stopped to let his dog defacate on my lawn. There is a law here that people are supposed to pick up after their animals. As I yelled "pick that up" the dog broke away or was let loose. I managed to get back in my house and slam and hold the dog between the door and the frame. The dog was a pit bull and was later put down because it was a second attack. I do not blame the dog but the owner. CONTINUED

@TheWarloghe let us know about the environment the dogs lived in....don't know? Then your comment is hearsay, inflammatory and misleading. In all my experience with this breed I have not once seen any sort of aggression when the dog is trained and socialized. In any type of attack story it always leads back to the owner and the dogs environment in which it lives.
