The number of Mongol armies I have destroyed on bridges is beyond count. FLAMING CATAPULTS ARE FUN!!!!!! At the end of the battle there are heaps of blackened corpses across the length of the bridge. Each catapult unit kills over 200 each, often over 300. Their army is anihalated and my losses are minimal. They come along with there vast armies, so cocky, think they own the world and then froomfizzleAAAARRRRGGRHHHHHHH!­!!!!. It is very very very very very fun.

AI computer is very strange in medieval but game is awesome.

one time i was about to defeat the last mongol city (after theyd like counqured all citys) i killed all the mongols and had a huge army left but one fuckin mongoloid mongol got stuck in some mountain and i could't kill him and the time ran out and i lost that whole fuckin army, i both pooped my pants in anger and destroyed my computer!

I ahd that problem in a city once. I'd fought off a huge army and one got stuck in the walls. I had to exit battle and they took the city. Its times like that I wish I used a timer.

I have that to, I installed and run it without administrative privileges which I think is the cause because it worked fine elsewhere. I don't know if thats what you did.

This is stupid fighting tactics by confronting the enemy head-on at the bottle neck unless you have strong phalanx like the Spartans or Mercedonians. There is no advantage if you don't have phalanx since the massive number of enemies could simply drip feed their troops and grind your army away. Should let a small part of their troops to pass the bridge first and then exploit their flanks and rear. That could reduce much more casualties.

There is no conflict for using the catapults while exploiting the enemy's flanks at the same time, you moron~ This could reduce casualties than just blocking the bottle neck by brute fight for it grinds away your own army away. Stupid rusky~

i think british are best cuz they have balaced defensive armies that work well offensively. also campaign starting position is great as all you have to do is deal with rebels and scot then you have a good base to send troops to caen and then onward to france. atleats thats what i did in my total conquest campaign. oh and if you ever get far enough, dont attack archer heavy armies without load of yeomen or longbowmen, and i didnt mention sherwood or retinue arechers cuz they're harder to retrain.

I think it Egypt because the units are amazing and the position they are in is good (with a strong player) to quickly expand their empire across Jerusalem, to the Turks and the to the rest of the Middke Easter and to the Moors, also the Moors are underthreat of spain, so you can have an advantage against them. Also be weary of the Byzantines, I completed campaign and to Africa, I think that second best is Turks because they have the settlements are next to each other for support against invaders

It is possible, although you must bring large armys for the aztecs will be well prepared, I've been there with England and destroyed every faction+mongol+timurid, I dont know what year, but in one of the years you will be able to construct a new port that constructs a boat, the only boat that can take you to america, other boats will not let you go there.

The mongols are very hard to stop when they first appear cause they start with about 10,000 men,you have to pick their armies off one by one.

What I would do is use about 6 assassins to pick off a general, then have my armies attack the army that has no general, so no main command bonus. once the mongols lose that battle, they retreat different ways, so they are easy to kill.

I don't mean to offend you but your card will be LUCKY if it can manage 30-40 fps at LOW settings for this game. RTS have alot more action going on than FPS games so I suggest a higher end vid game like a Nvidia 8500GT ot 8600GT or an ATI HD 3650

I had 3,000 sucky missile cav, I pwned

25,000 mongols over one turn, at the same river crossing. Took the Mongols seven generals + their full armies that one turn to kill my 3,000 russians.

Yea! computer AI is always foolish when they charge across the bridge. Obviously the one charging across has a major disadvantage, making it easier for the defender to win regardless of how outnumbered he is.
