@Eroxiz hawke is indeed morrigans son. did you not pay any attention to witch hunt dlc. morrigan talks about a place beyond the fade. theory is this "place" is like narnia where time in this place does not effect time in the fade or the physical world. this could easily give morrigan the time to train and prepare the child, and then return him to the physical world without memory and during any time period. he has the archdemons blood he is morrigans child

@thebk247 That's far to convoluted, by Bioware's standards. The story in DA2 is fairly straightforward in explaining Hawke's lineage and family ties. They only relation between Hawke and Warden is if the Warden's back-story was set as a Human mage in DA:Origins and you then transferred the save-file over.

Hawke and the Mage Warden(via last name Amell) are second-cousins at best.

At the point where this trailer was first published, the graphics were in the process of being completely overhauled. @A7XFanaTiX No. In the first game, you could play as a human, elf or dwarf. However, this experience is going to be much more Mass Effect-like, an improvement over the last game; unfortunately, they've limited that race choice to only that of a human, to the latest knowledge of the game.

And no, the dragons are actually creatures called Archdemons, monsters that served as sort of false Gods that were smote by the true Creator, and thus became leaders of the Darkspawn and the Blights.

@A7XFanaTiX I remember an RPG by the name of Divinity II: Ego Draconis that gives the player character the ability to transforms themselves into a dragon later on in the game. It was a brilliant concept in my book, but the execution of the game sucked and the overall setup, graphics and story was lackluster, which gave it numerous poor reviews. If you want to play a dragon, though, check it out.

The graphics are supposed to be alright, not superb, and no, it's just one player.

No. Hawke is a new character. [S]He was alive when Lothering was destroyed in Origins. So there is no way that Hawke is related to the Warden OR Morrigan.

Also you can import your character from Origins and all of your decisions will carry over. Not everyone did the ritual with Morrigan so this could not work.

@bigiogi No this is physically impossible and Bioware has confirmed this is not the case. Dragon Age 2 starts with Locke already a young boy/girl as his/her family is fleeing Lothering as the Darkspawn destroy it (which takes place at the beginning of Origins and just as the Wardens have met Morrigan.)

the point of 2+ is to go beyond the simple, o another blight kill the archdemon. Its about one of the first convos in part one between allister. "Where do they really come from, what is it really about." Morrigan obviously somehow knows; and probably learned with her time with Flimith. Something that would stir even morrigan into action.

Lol i dont care what people say; with the release of Witch Hunt I am pretty sure more then ever thats the son. I mean common; he has a sword that is half sword and half staff. etc etc. It doesn't have to be the warden that had the kid. Could be Allister or a number of other choices. Morigan says she is getting the child ready for his destiny and that it will change everthing and that the one we should watch out for is flemeth.
