@kidneykid77 lol rangers are fucking pathetic, newsflash, if you didnt win it last year, 2 strikes away TWICE, your NEVER going to. your team just chokes, you have a shitty manager, and bandwagon fans. theirs a reason you dont win, your team has ZERO heart. yes nelson cruz, dont jump against the "padded" wall to catch what should have been a routine out....you "might" hurt yourself. hahhahhahaa. pussy bitch team, never been so happy to see the cards win.

From what I hear, Darvish is pretty special. It will be interesting to see how long it is before he comes over here. The Red Sox can still get him, I'm sure. yahaha i saw the yahoo article too, so i wanted to see wat the fuss was about.. will be sein him in mlb soon hopefully!... and olympics too, nippon ganbare
"Last season, most of which he pitched as a 20-year old, he went 15-5 with a 1.82 earned-run average and 12 complete games. His fastball hits 97 mph, his slider 91, and he throws a curveball, changeup and sinker. " - Yahoo Sports lol
read the yahoo article on him.. the yankees have some kind of stake in the team he plays for.. so chances are he will go there... except its probably gonna cost them 50% more than what the red sox gave dice-k
Liar............what TRUE Cubs fan has been accused of Xenaphobia/racism in regards to Fukudome? The Cubs fan have accepted him with open arms. Any IDIOT SHOULD be able to see that on TV!!!
Darvish would make a great addition to the Cubs roster......
must be a cards fag. hey ,while the cubs are kicking your asses all year try to avoid any roads traveled by larussa or the bullpen.they cant hit the strike zone but they can hit your family's car head on. WAY TO FINALLY MAKE CONTACT!!!!!!
And four weeks after you posted this, the Cubs are sitting with the best record in baseball absolutely DOMINATING the opposition. No lead is safe against the Cubs. Darvish would fit in well with Kosuke and the Cubs.
wow they have the best record in baseball in the middle of June. Since when has that guaranteed a World Series win? Why are Cubs fans so delusional?
However, I really do hope the Cubs make it to the playoffs this year, just to see how they blow it. Billy Goat Jr.? Steve Bartman again? How about a combination of both with Glen Allen Hill making a comeback as well? Keep living in fantasy world Cubs fans. Than again, I really can't blame you after a century of losing
Nonsense........they've been DOMINATING as I said. Just concluded a 3-game sweep of the Braves, killing them the first two and coming from behind in the bottom of the 9th for the last one.
You mention 'delusional' and then you bring up a bunch of bullshit that has nothing to do with how well the team is playing. Keep mocking and watch the Cubs keep winning.
remember how the Rockies "dominated" last year. Doesn't mean you win when it counts the most. 100 years of losing, how can you be so positive that you won already.
Again, you're invoking what happened over the last 99 seasons and it has NOTHING to do with what's happening NOW. The Cubs pitching is still dominating, they're still winning overwhelmingly at home and still have a good lead over two mediocre teams. What happens this fall......who knows? Since I lasted posted, the Cubs swept Brewers in Mil., beat Carpenter's ass last week. They have the Central locked up as far as I'm concerned.
can we please stop with all the hype!!! I don't remember 1 japenese pitcher Dominating in America, so please stop with the hype. we heard the same stuff about Dice-k and his era was around 5 last year. oh and by the way this kid is half muslim and half Japanese his father is from Iran.
What does his religion have to do with anything? And how can someone be "half muslim"? And although Daisuke Matsuzaka did not dominate in the majors, he did have 201 Ks and he did win 15 games. Let's not forget about Nomomania!

Not one pitch over 149 km/hour which equals 93mph. And I only saw hme throw it 149km/hour once. Nothing special at least velocity wise.
claim924 3 years ago
At 3:17, he throws 150km/h. Velocity is not everything, but helps when he throws slider, breaking ball, two-seam.
His hight (6'4") with long arm makes his ball more effective than actual ball speed, according to his opponent hitters' comments.
uncensoredshit 3 years ago
Addition to that, he is not the fastest, but he is recognized for his overall pitching stats in NPB;
ERA 1.82('07),1.88('08), W-L% 0.750('07), 0.800('08), SO 210('07), 208('08).
As a reference DiseK's stats in last 2 seasons in NPB;
ERA 2.30('05), 2.13('06), W-L% 0.519('05), 0.773('06), SO 226('05), 200('06).
Let's see how he throws in WBC.

he hit 94mph in another video (151kmh)
uoieaz 3 years ago
He hits 96 mph last year(2007).
This video is Dar who is just 20 yrs in 2006.
He improves his slider and two-seam so much and gets zawamura award(NPB CY) in 2007.
agbug666 3 years ago
I don't know about this guy. His fastball tops at 91 mph (at least that's the fastest he throws in this video).
sofor1 3 years ago
"Last season, most of which he pitched as a 20-year old, he went 15-5 with a 1.82 earned-run average and 12 complete games. His fastball hits 97 mph, his slider 91, and he throws a curveball, changeup and sinker. " - Yahoo Sports lol

He is the best pitcher in Japan.
seegetter 3 years ago 2
With the way he is pitching at only 21 years of age, there is no doubt he'll be a Cy-Young award winner in the MLB. (Yaay-he'll be a Dad soon too!)

dragon18783 3 years ago
read the yahoo article on him.. the yankees have some kind of stake in the team he plays for.. so chances are he will go there... except its probably gonna cost them 50% more than what the red sox gave dice-k

After the way the Cubs fans greeted Fukudome I'll every Japanese player will want to come to Chicago............HAHAHA!
KellyJayJumps 3 years ago
LOL, Nice one cubs fans, way to sell racist t-shirts OF YOUR OWN PLAYER!!!!! Another 100 years of losing you f.a.g.g.o.t.s
huuuubaah 3 years ago
Liar............what TRUE Cubs fan has been accused of Xenaphobia/racism in regards to Fukudome? The Cubs fan have accepted him with open arms. Any IDIOT SHOULD be able to see that on TV!!!
Darvish would make a great addition to the Cubs roster......
KellyJayJumps 3 years ago
must be a cards fag. hey ,while the cubs are kicking your asses all year try to avoid any roads traveled by larussa or the bullpen.they cant hit the strike zone but they can hit your family's car head on. WAY TO FINALLY MAKE CONTACT!!!!!!
jmh931 3 years ago
LOL When was the last time the Cubs won the World Series?!? Over a 100 years ago!! LOL
templegoon 3 years ago
its been 100 years, not over 100...
DominusK10 3 years ago
so after this season, it will be over a hundred, big deal.
And for what it's worth, I hope he goes to the DRays so he can stick it to Red Sox and Yankees for the next decade and a half
templegoon 3 years ago
And four weeks after you posted this, the Cubs are sitting with the best record in baseball absolutely DOMINATING the opposition. No lead is safe against the Cubs. Darvish would fit in well with Kosuke and the Cubs.
KellyJayJumps 3 years ago
wow they have the best record in baseball in the middle of June.
Than again, I really can't blame you after a century of losing
templegoon 3 years ago
Nonsense........they've been DOMINATING as I said. Just concluded a 3-game sweep of the Braves, killing them the first two and coming from behind in the bottom of the 9th for the last one.
You mention 'delusional' and then you bring up a bunch of bullshit that has nothing to do with how well the team is playing. Keep mocking and watch the Cubs keep winning.
KellyJayJumps 3 years ago
remember how the Rockies "dominated" last year. Doesn't mean you win when it counts the most. 100 years of losing, how can you be so positive that you won already.
CFreD177 3 years ago
Again, you're invoking what happened over the last 99 seasons and it has NOTHING to do with what's happening NOW. The Cubs pitching is still dominating, they're still winning overwhelmingly at home and still have a good lead over two mediocre teams. What happens this fall......who knows? Since I lasted posted, the Cubs swept Brewers in Mil., beat Carpenter's ass last week. They have the Central locked up as far as I'm concerned.
KellyJayJumps 3 years ago
now look at them cubs, they're not looking so hot now...

can we please stop with all the hype!!! I don't remember 1 japenese pitcher Dominating in America, so please stop with the hype. we heard the same stuff about Dice-k and his era was around 5 last year. oh and by the way this kid is half muslim and half Japanese his father is from Iran.
amatalka87 4 years ago
What does his religion have to do with anything? And how can someone be "half muslim"? And although Daisuke Matsuzaka did not dominate in the majors, he did have 201 Ks and he did win 15 games. Let's not forget about Nomomania!
AutomaticOut 4 years ago
at least he tries to make money with his skills and not like you, sitting in front of your screen whinning why people make more money than you.
PolyRetard 3 years ago
he throws around 90mph with ease. he still has room to grow and add more velocity. i can see him pitching around 93-95 once he grows into his body
aznboi444 4 years ago
This is 06 Darvish who is just 20 yrs old.
He has improved his slider and two-seam 07.
Now he can easily touch 93.94 (usually 88-92)
if he needs a K.And give you some 95.96 in a good day.
agbug666 4 years ago
His max speed is 154kph. But 150kph is a few.
And many strike out is breakingball. He isn't fastball pitcher. He's allround pitcher.
someyoshino 4 years ago
and by mpg i meant mph
baseballg2 4 years ago
does he really top out at 93 mpg (149-150 kph)?
