And at age 23 to 30 he was the greatest high note rock n roll frontman ever period! The only guy to compare is robert plant but when robert was 33 he lost his voice! Chris Cornell sang more outragious notes than plant and kept his voice for at least 14 years after robert lost his! Im 25 and I wasn't around when temple of the dog came out but it is the most passionate vocal you can ever hear. Listen to four walled world with the lyrics and you will never put a vocalist ahead of chris cornell

The best singer male or female and of any genre to ever touch down on earth. I have heard chris cornell do ever style outside of country and shine brighter than anyone ever! If there were a person that i would want to sing like Chris Cornell is the only one that would ever come to mind. At 46 years old he still plays some of the most unbelievable acoustic sets i have ever heard

This is cool. It's a little clunky in arrangement (as most demos are) but it's such a treat to hear this in it's infancy. The CD version is undeniably better. Jason Falkner on guitar. Come on.

This version is so awesome. I cant believe Ive never heard it! He's my favorite vocalist of all time. No one can scream like Chris. Euphoria Morning was such a refreshing change. I spent many of nights falling asleep to that cd. Thanks for uploading this!

once in a very rare while i find a song that is truly amazing. when i hear it, it gives me the chills and i get goosebumps from how beautiful and how powerful it is. Chris has done that to me at least 6 times, and this song is one of them.

@dolunaydainsanolan That's total opinion. They both have incredible lyrics, incredible soul. I think i like Jeff Buckley's way of building up a song better, but man Chris can belt those words out of his mouth.

This really shows how much a song can really change.

This was recorded during the Superunknown era.

The final Euphoria Morning version is very different. He also sings it differently.

This is a more strenuous vocal performance while the final is a bit more relaxed.

drinking when ur depressed numbs ur pain, its only a temporary fix for ur probs, with its own separate consequences.. there are other ways to stop depression.. im about to drop everything and leave to drive from nj(where i grew up) to florida on sunday... sucks when ur young tho u cant just get up and leave. just tough it out til senior year then ur free

it was a demo from the superunknow era but they tanked it cuz it sounded too mellow. because chris wrote it, he has rights to it tho so he re wrote it and released it on his solo album under the same name. it was never very successful but it is my favourite album of all time, and a great album overall for anyone who wants to check it out.
