I don't know, even if the King had this amazing hardy constitution Logos speaks of, I still think having his throat slit so wide his head nearly came off and bleeding for minutes or hours would be enough to kill him. If Logos gets to choose who becomes King, why doesn't he just make HIMSELF King? Wouldn't that make more sense?
