@Icestar1881 I partially agree with you, but this attitude isn't good for all the shows. It's not about the designer. If you watch the Chanel SS 2010 RTW show, you will see the models smile like in this show. Because the clothes have an optimistic glow. But, in Chanel Haute Couture F/W 2010, you will see another look, that fits with the dark and dramatic clothes. Or John Galliano. Or Givenchy. Or many other designers. It would be silly to see models dressed dramatic smiling with joy.

In fact most models are jolie-laide. When you meet them or see them live you're often struck at how unusual their features are. I miss this! The days when Coco was cool, and actually booked shows. These days you only see her in b-grade shows like diane von furstenberg. However, i still love freja, she continues to have stellar seasons!
