  • Humans are the deadliest of them all because we kill animals out of greed, sport and or just because we don't like them.

  • There is no an exact answer for such controversial topic as a lot of variations exist.LD50 does't take the snake temperament, fangs effectiveness, venom yield, venom effects on humans, etc into account.Generally, king cobra, black mamba, carpet viper, coastal taipan, eastern brown, lancehead, several Najas etc are regarded as highly dangerous when encounter due to several factors.K.cobra and b.mamba cause a rapid death and high mortality rate.Russell's and carpet cause the most deaths.

  • So several factors should be considered to regard whatever a species is among one of the most dangerous.

  • For the number of snakebite cases caused: the Big Four snakes (both in Asia and the world), the puff adder (in Africa), the eastern diamondback (in North America), the terciopelo (in South Am.), the eastern brown (in Australia) etc....

  • For high attack ability (high attack range and position, etc): the king cobra, the black mamba, the terciopelo, the coastal taipan

For toxicity: sea snakes, the inland taipan, the eastern brown, the coastal taipoan, kraits, etc

For the volume of venom : The Gabon viper, the puff adder, the king cobra, the terciopelo, the eastern diamondback rattlesnake

  • For ferocity: the black mamba, the king cobra, the saw-scaled viper, the eastern brown snake, the coastal taipan (generally).

For high mortality rate (for humans): the black mamba, the king cobra, the eastern brown snake, the coastal taipan, the cape cobra

  • So much about your video is wrong. Get your facts straight. Russels Viper is not the top land snake on the LD50, it IS the inland Taipan, that is a fact. You are simply wrong. Look it up you morons. Also the photos you have of the "Inland Taipan" and the Eastern Brown Snake are both Coastal Taipans. You should really check your photos if you are trying to provide an educational video. Maybe leave education to people who have studied Reptiles.

  • @fauce Your the one who needs educating... Remind me what animal the ld50 is tested on again?? Or yeah now I remember...mice... Are humans mice??

  • @yobro250 YOU DEAD SHIT. HE SAYS ACCORDING TO OUR MOUSE TEST!!!! idiots. if he had said "we think these are the top 5 most deadly to humans" then yeah. Valid point. BUT HE SAYS!!!! According to the mouse test. SO WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ON ABOUT!!! The mouse test is the LD50. and that list is Factually incorrect. Still stand by the fact that both your Inland Taipan and Eastern Brown pics are incorrect too. Any reply on that? Guess not. You complete deadshit.

  • @fauce Their is ZERO proof that the inland taipan is the most venomous snake to humans... It is the most venomous drop for drop to MICE( which it exclusively preys on) but no proof this correlates to humans.

  • no its the black mamba

  • The most dangerous snake in the world is the George W. Bushmaster. It killed more than 100,000 people in Iraq over the past 8 years. Knocked off a few in Afghanistan too.

  • @ericynot thats not correct the most venemous and fastest it the eastern Taipain and thats a bioligical fact

  • @bazzamataz72 No it isnt a scientific fact dummy... The inland taipan is the most drop for drop venomous to MICE... Thats it.....Absolutely zero proof it is the most venomous snake to anything other than a mouse

  • inland taipan is the number one most venemous land snake and thats a fact

  • fer de lance!

  • whats this su post to be a snake eau

  • The most aggressive with a combo of neuro and hemo would be the deadliest. The aggressive snake wants to kill and wants to attack you. The black mamba would be the deadliest because it wants to attack it is a predator. Also there is no antivenom so once bitten say goodbye.

  • Some companies are producing a very effective polyvalent for mambas.

  • @piratz22 there is a polyvalent antivenom produced by SAIMR to treat all black mamba bites. Recent research shows that about one-third of the victims that bitten by black mambas died finally.

  • @piratz22 there is antivenom, but even with that you still have an 80% (or more) chance of dying, so yea, say goodbye and goodnight

  • @rayrayALA

No, there is a polyvalent antivenom to treat black mamba bite cases from different locations and deaths are becoming rare nowadays. According to medical details, nowadays, about one-thirds of the victims who were bitten by black mambas died (i.e. the mortality rate is about 33%). Previously, the mortality rate from black mamba bites can be over 80% as the anti-venom was not wide-avail.

  • I would have to go with the infamous Black Mamba as the worlds deadliest. Because it has the total package. Extremely toxic venom, lightning speed and orneriness. Of all the venomous snakes in the word it is the one I would least want to be locked in a room with.

  • of the worlds top ten deadliest snakes, australia has the first seven.fact.

  • @tpp969 Fail... Australia has the top 3( number 4 and 5 are Asian snakes) and 6 out of the top 10... And thats to MICE... Australian snakes are overrated and they would be lucky to have 1-3 of the top 10 to humans.

  • @yobro250 lol. i think i,ll let you stew in ur own bullshit

  • @tpp969 Sometimes the truth hurts doesn't it? Everything I said was true...If you look at the ld50 for mice australia has the top 3 ( number 4 and 5 are Asian) and then 6 out of top 10...For humans Australia would be lucky to have 1 or 2

Lol at Australians exaggerating their lame animals to sound cool and tough to the rest of the world lol...Your animals are some of the lamest in the entire world...Asia and Africa have way more dangerous animals than Australia.

  • The "King Kobra"

is the king, and it eats* other venomous snakes.

so the other snakes might as well go home, cause the King is here.....

  • There is no antivenom for the Inland Taipan, so if one bites you, you're SOL

  • For Australian snakes the King Brown delivers the most venom that is quite toxic. But drop for drop the Inland Taipan

has no peers as studies at QLD University have proven.

Deadilist snake is difficult but for sheer size, power, toxicity agression amd speed, I believe the Black Mamba would win

  • @Willowsrd Wrong idiot... The inland Taipan is the most toxic drop for drop tp MICE... Their is ZERO proof it is the most venomous to humans or any other animals but a mouse.

  • Most venomous snake =

    1. Inland Taipan or fierce snake

    2. Eastern Brown snake

    3. Coastal Taipan

However, no person has ever been killed by by fierce snake.

Coastal taipan is extremely agressive and has a deadly strike and rarely misses. Brown snake lives amongst people and has killed many australians.

What I understand though the Black mamba of Africa is extremely agressive with lots of venom and can grow quite large. Footage I have seen is scary.

  • @Willowsrd Yes to MICE!!! Are humans mice?? No and its absurd to think that the most venomous to mice means anything for humans or any other animal for that matter...

And actullay I think the Many Banded Krait is #3

  • How much venom does the inland taipan and eastern brown hold?

  • dont know how many of you have ever encounted a inland taipan, but they are agressive snakes, although not as agressive as the black mumba, they are still one of the more agressive venomous snakes in aust. the scrub python is also well known for its readiness to bite. There has been many cases on inland taipan (fear snake) but all were in an area where anti venom was readily available. however many pets are killed each year durring summer, when these taipans seek settler indoors, under cars, ect

  • Anyone else seen the vid where the Black Mamba takes on the elephant and LOSES haha i hate snakes lol

  • True to that

  • According to Wikipedia the Inland Taipan has the deadliest venom. But there has been no reports on it killing anyone because it is not aggressive like the black mamba or the king cobra. So the Inland Taipan is the most venomous but not the deadliest. I believe the deadliest would be the Black Mamba. It is so aggressive.

  • The taipan has the worlds 3rd most deadliest venom. The sea snake hydrophis belcheri has the most lethal one followed by another sea snake. None of these 3 snakes have an aggressive nature.

  • Well let me correct myself. The Inland Taipan is the most venomous "land" snake

  • correct :-)

  • @Tjtjboy No it isnt... Its the most venomous to MICE... Their is ZERO proof that is it the most venomous to any other animal

  • black mamba RULLLZZZ

he bits 3-4 times in one attack

n never runs away...very swift n very very poisonous

  • @Tjtjboy

It should also include the death time and the mortality rate.

For the death time, it is probably the king cobra as it caused the fastest death time for human. For mortality rate, it is probably the black mamba...

About the temperament, I agree that the black mamba, king cobra, saw-scaled viper...have a bad temperament. But mostly, we forget about some non-venomous snakes. They may not as dangerous as the venomous one, but they can also be quite fierce. Moreover, we should notice that

  • @fearingpredators

vipers and elapids have different "attack style", it is difficult to directly compare...

  • I thought the inland taipan has the most lethal venom since one bite is enough venom to kill over 100 grown men. But I thought the black mamba was the most dangerous since they are the most agressive.

  • the most dangerous snake is the one that just bit you, well thats my view on it anyway,

  • and one more thing I know that all you know about India is "Snake Charmers"

Not you r fault cause you are just another ignorant loser with parental money to waste and all your information about the reptiles is pre existing...you guys are not recherches neither am i

GO suck Mr. Mark Oshea's Dick..may be u will enlighten yourself and next time you will make a better video. FOOLISH BOYS!

  • I think your the ignorant one for your misconceptions lay off the opium it was a joke tat you make the other way around all the time about basterd westerners

  • There is nothing more deadlier then humans, i dont know what you suburban pricks are trying to prove

Steve is dead...and he was a helluva reptile lover

I think he was phenomenal and a very great entertainer

I know he was always acting lame and trying to make as feel exited about his show, but you guys are nowhere near his talent boys. He handled Salty s and you just have experiences with slithering gooey little poisonous creatures

  • amen to that!

  • @kallukasaikabap Good point. Turns out we made this a year before he died. What can I say. That little bit was funny until then.

  • the king cobra and black mamba are no way near as deadly as the inland tiapan but cause more deaths:D

  • yes, mambas and cobras are very aggressive snakes ... taipans are less aggressive and thank god for that :)

  • yeah good point... of the inland tiapan was as aggressive as the mamba and kc we would be in a lot of trouble:S

  • @FFSfunnyman Yes they are... The inland taipan has NEVER killed anyone... And their is no proof that it is more venomous to humans than a mamba... It is more venomous to mice...but no proof that it is more venomous to a human

  • wow this video is corny

  • my friend's call me "fatty cobra"

  • Is there a place that has more ecogeek videos on youtube? Great videos

  • I've seen a more recent version of this film and they had replaced the coral snake footage with one from central america. This film is a pretty good spoof on the discovery channel's "most deadly" nonsense.

  • If you look closely at when they give examples of different types of venom, you can see that the " coral snake" is not a coral snake, but a scarlet kingsnake.....its a mimic....wht a dumb vid....

  • hahahha the shootings in this video reminds me of a really bad porno :P

  • I think the reason we can't find the world's deadliest snake is because it is too general. If we said the world's deadliest snake to a particular species like humans, it would probably be much easier to find out.

  • poison wise on land it's the inland taipan, however most poisonous snake of all is a sea snake, cant remember the name, if you go by deadlyness it's all about whether you mean people killed/bitten every year in that case it's about what dangerous snake lives near most people and what methods they have of surviving bites etc.

  • are you talking about the belcher's sea snake?

  • quite possibly. If I remember is white with black stripes or something. Been a while :p

  • i know the belcher snake is striped, but i'm not sure what colors.

  • @Nunez87 The inland taipan is the most venomous snake to MICE...Their is absolutely zero proof that it is the most venomous to humans or any other animal that isnt a mouse

  • king cobra is the most scary snake as it does not run away when confronted and holds its ground(courtesy steve austin animal planet)

  • Why try and determine which one is the most dangerous. The most dangerous snake in the world is the one that just bit you. There are so many different variables and exceptions that it is impossible to determine which snake is the most dangerous. I say, lets just leave it to rest.

  • The King Cobra is the worst because it has larger fangs, injects more venom than the Inland Taipan, and kills faster. One bite from a King Cobra takes affect in 2 minutes, and kills in 10 minutes on a human. One bite is even strong enough to kill a fully grown male bull Asian Elephant in 2 and 1/2 hours.

  • another death near where i live (Perth)was of a 15 year old boy taking photos out bush of wildlife where he was bitten by a Tiger snake. He had first aid training in snake bites as his dad was a snake catcher but it wasn't enough and he died at the scene.

  • Inland taipan has the most toxic venom but because of Australias' small population and the fact that the snake lives in the middle of the desert no one really ever comes in to contact with it. Only one week ago in qld a 15 year old got bitten on the foot while jumping into a swimming hole by a coastal taipan and by the time he surfaced on the water a few seconds later he was apparently already vomiting up blood so the venom acts extremely quickly.

  • are they trying to determine which is the most deadliest snake to mice or to humans? why do we care how many mice a certain venom can kill within 24 hours? i don't think it really matters to a mouse which is the most deadly, any venom will kill them. bottom line, if you get bit by a cobra, russell's viper, black mamba, rattlesnake...etc. and you are far away from any medical care, kiss your ass goodbye!!

  • this is bad

  • Id say mamba is the most dangerous! Its not the most venomous but its venom works quicker than any other snake

If 1 drop of snake venom can kill 20 people but takes 2 days to kill a man -its not very dangerous then is it ? -because it gives you plenty time to get to hospital

Mambas are horrible, they territorial, dont mind coming into the house -They fast, unpredictable & dont give warning bites when they angry like other snakes do

& an adult is big enough to look you straigt in the eye

  • They got the most forward fangs so rarely mis-bite. They inject alot of neurotoxic venom & the anti-venom for it isnt very effective

If 1 bites you the best thing you can do is pull a piece of wire around your arm -you`ll loose it but you`ll be alive

By the way mushrooms are poisonous! Snakes are venomous!

I lived in an area where they were a problem -they always come sniffing around the dogs looking for trouble & 1 killed our dog right next to us

Other snakes seem to be more shy

  • & I think size has alot to do with it. Im alot more worried about a 4 metre mamba standing as tall as I am,

not afraid of me & capable of moving at 20 km/h than a 1 metre long snake trying to bite my boot out of fear

Anyway puff-adders kill more people in Africa than any other snake. Because they dont move out of the way till your step on it.

After 4 days your leg is rotting off with gangrene but theres no hospitals in the rural areas

  • kingkobra is the worst than the seakrait its not as bad because Ive got records on humans not damn mouses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • theres a differance poisoness means that it has to be obsorbed like a cut in your hand touches the skin of a deadly dart frog venom means that it has to be injected like a snake biteing you.

  • Yeah, no one goes swimming that deep to get bit by the Taipan

  • black mamba is the worst.

  • Well,I did see a program on National geographic channel which evaluated the deadliest snake on five aspects- size, volume of venom, toxicity, personality as well as number of human deaths...plus I saw the program ' Seven Deadly strikes' where snakes were evaluated on speed, venom and strike...so I add speed and strike to the existing five to make it seven...so the Black Mamba wins on these counts

    1.Size-4/5

    2.Volume of Venom-3/5

    3.Toxicity-5/5

    4.Personality-5/5

    5.Deaths-4/5

    6.Speed-5/5

    7.Strike-5/5

  • It's not about the venom.. it can be deadly by simply attacking alot, most people say that alot of africas, or indas snakes are the deadliest, because they are very aggressive, but all facts aside.. the taipan has the most deadliest vemon, yet hasn't killed many people.

  • If the Inland Taipan was located in Afria and India, then it would probably kill far more it does in Australia. Yes, it's not the most aggressive snake, but it's in the middle of no where in Australia. The venom from this snake can potentialy kill 100 humans in one bite! Also, size has barely any impact on deadliness.

  • @ShaynBilly No it doesnt.. It has the most deadly venom to MICE... Thats it

  • i done my reaserch and came up with the resault that the inland taipan is the most venoums snake on land i also found out australia has 18 of the top 22 most venoums snakes

  • get your facts right people, the worlds most deadliest snake in the world is DIFFERENT from the worlds most venomos snake

  • no the venom makes it the deadliest just by being agressave dosnt kill a person venom does and thats the worst thing that happens to u

  • Correct. For example Inland Taipans and sea snakes are very venomous but doesn't kill much people. Therefore they're not the most deadliest, but two of the most venomous.

  • That's a great point Daanioo, people need to reconsider and rethink this whole situation.

  • You have a point. The most venomous is the Inland Taipan, but the deadliest is the King Cobra.

  • the inland taipan has the most toxic and potent venom of all snakes. But is it considered dangerous? NO. Because it lives in isolation, away from humans. Thus rendering it LESS DANGEROUS. thanks a lot men.

  • i'd have to say that the russels viper is the deadliest. it is the has the second most potent venom, its quick and v. aggressive. and, unlike the inland taipan, it can reside in well populated areas.

  • Here's my determinant of "most deadly.' If I was forced to handle a wild caught snake, a black mamba would narrowly edge out the common taipan due to a combination of their speed, accurate strike, long fangs, large venom yield, and limberness.

  • all things equal its the sea kraite or inland taipan. when factoring aggression it has to be the black mamba or cobra. the russell's viper is nasty as well.

  • holy kanesh lmao

  • when i lived in south africa, my mom ran over a black mamba and had to spin her tires on it to finally kill it...black mambas are the most dangerous snake in the world cuz htey are so aggressive

  • Their aggression is greatly exaggerated. Look up "viperkeeper" on youtube, he lets his come right up to his face to investigate, and they let him squirt water into their mouths, even a wild caught specimen. Please don't contribute to such silly myths.

  • thats not a black mamba idiot

  • What the hell are you talking about?

  • and have a bit off respect for the croc hunter k boyz

  • come 2 australia dick head and come fishing with me then stand next to a taipan then tell me it's not the deadliest

  • I thought only coastal taipans hung around water.

Inland taipans hang around dry areas, if I'm not mistaken, and those are the ones in question.

They have the most potent venom, but the intriguing thing about them is how reclusive they are with humans. They're probably smart enough to think "I can't eat a DUDE, so I'm not using my venom on him".

  • incorrect costal taipans r everywhere anywhere with trees basicly inland or fear snakes r the middle off Australia and guess wat only a couple hundred ppl live out there so death rates from them r small. there is theroy amoung snake experts that if the inland typan was infact a coast snake that Australia's human population would drop drammaticly because of ppl that get attacked by such an aggressive animal.

  • chunkeyhotdog144 - I was saying, the only taipans that hang around water are coastal, not that coastals only hang around water.

Also, I've heard again and again that the inland taipan is in fact not very aggressive and would most often choose to flee than to attack a human.

  • "So dang aggressive"

  • The most potent is the inland taipan, but i think the king cobra is easily the most intimidating. ive heard they can use there muscles to lift its whole upper body up to look a human dead straight in the eye..

  • Worms are very dangerous.

  • i dunno bout the deadliest but the most venomous land snake is not the russels viper, its the inland taipan. 110mg of inland taipans venom can kill 250,000 mice.

(100human adults) they got the most vemoumous sea and correct.also the most venomous in the world

  • maybe someone could show me a picture or something of the hook-nosed sea snake/krait w/e ;D ? :/

  • ,,,i still think king cobra freaks me out the most....the fucking things massive....it often pumps loads of venom into a victims groin........im really "not into" the idea of that.

  • I honestly believe had I known how many deadly snakes and spiders OZ has, I would never have gone the first time.......not only once but 5 times.

    UGH!

  • the trouser snake is one to be careful of....

  • You guys rock!

  • the worlds deadliest snake in the world is the inland taipan

  • think ur confusing deadliest with most venomous

  • If you want to see some of these snakes, look up the videos from VIPERKEEPER here at youtube. He has quite a bit of detailed information on each venomous snake he owns (over 100)

  • As Al says, the most deadly snake in the world is the one that just bit you. Treat them respect, stay safe, and enjoy the mystical beauty of these animals.

  • they forgot the black mamba, if you run away, well the black mamba can chase you ( 30km/h)they can kill you in 15 min. he can bite with a huge amount of venom if he is really piss off.

  • black mambas dont chase. Thats a myth.

  • they can and sometimes do never been recorded but people have reported been chased by them here and there

  • they don't chase, but they ALWAYS envenomate.

  • I'm gonna have to call the bullshit card on this one. No snake can break 8 mph. that is somewere around 12 or 13 kph. Nowhere near 30 kph

  • The Black Mamba can go to 15 kph, it is the fastest snake in the World

  • well, I said 12 or 13 kph, I was close

  • the inland taipan for it`s venom, but pit viper, brown snake, black mamba for being aggresive, and lets face it also dam potent..

  • black mambas are so fast and have such deadly venom they are the most deadly and most dangerous..they are very quick

  • the worlds most venoums snake is the inland tipan and the most dangris snake is the costal tipans i keep them and whork with them evry day

  • yeah i ave to handle snakes daily as i work ina zoo (same as you)i found that black mamba is more dealdy than C taipan as it's very aggresive and hostile but inland taipan is the most venomous

  • costal tipan is number 3 and commen brown is 2 inland 1 cotalas are the most dangrous beacues the grow up to 9 feet and very aggrsive till the 6 feet mark

  • Learn to spell the fucking name and people might actually believe you have the intelligence to keep any species of vemonmous snake. It's T-A-I-P-A-N you knob. Every snake vid on here has you claiming that you keep every sort of snake and you have misspelled taipan on every single occasion.

  • ok dick head i might not spell good and i keep most elapids dick head i will get some nids up this week then and i bet you dont even keep elapids

  • No I dont keep elapids. I never claimed to. But I CAN spell their names. One would think that you might have had to do some research/study or gain qualification before being able to keep these hot snakes. That might have actually involved learning to spell the name correctly. At least if you're going to misspell it, make it the same each time.

  • And its always the "this snake is the deadliest" crowd that seem to show the least respect for them.

Happy for you to post some vids this week buddy. I'll cop it sweet (although will still be shaking my head in disbelief) if you do. I want you to hold up a sign with my name on it too.

  • My Boyfriend was bitten by a taipan when he was 7 and lived, it was a fully grown one.

  • African black Mamba is the most diedliest snake to humans, Not the most toxic thou but here´s the list why!. Nr 1 in the world for, Striking distance +/-2 to 3m away and 2m in hight, fastest moving(60Kmh over short distance), fastest striking(faster than the blinking of your eyelids), most venom injecting per bite, most repeditive striking and most aggresive snake in the world. That alone makes it nr 1. Not to mention that it kills the most people every year.

  • ok Black Mamba's cant move at 60km/h.

    its 15 Mp/h or roughly 30 km/h

  • Why don't you have one chase you and let's all find out how fast you can run, pal!

  • The king cobra has the most venom but not very toxic, number 21 on the most potent venom, ut the inland taipan has the most drop for drop potent venom, but 1/4 amount of vemon U should deside

  • All I know, is that the Inland Taipan has been proven to be the most venomous snake in the world.

  • it's not, the fierce snake is. at least that is what i have heard from about 4 sources. I will say something though. the diamondback rattlesnake is far from the most deadly snake, but people who are bitten by them probablly suffer the most due to how their venom works. if you get bit in the leg by a diamondback, odds are, your leg will never be the same again.

  • inalnd taipan is about 600 more venomous than a daimond back (that is drop for drop)

  • huh? I thought the inland taipan and the fierce snake is the same thing

  • I've heard they are, and they aren't.

  • according to wikpedia "The Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus), also known as the Small Scaled Snake and Fierce Snake"

  • uh dude Fierce snake and inland are one and the same.

    get off the weed

  • LOL

  • 1 inland taipan, 2 common brown 3 costal taipan 4 eastern tiger snake ps check ten vemenous snakes in the world

  • no, your right about the rest, but number one is the fierce snake.

  • hahaha

  • the black mamba is more aggressive and kills more people than the taipan

  • whoah I didn't think the inland taipan was no.3...I thought it was no. 2 after the hook nose seakrait..

otho I'd rather be in the same room with the top 3 anyday than with a black mamba/bushmaster

  • yeah I dont know where they got their information from but the inland taipan (fierce snake) is definatley the most venemous

  • Hard to say actually, there are a number of factors, most of which are impossible to measure in a real envenomation, to include when saying what the most venomous snake is. So saying it's definitely the taipan is slightly inaccurate.

  • I really enjoyed this video and was very interested to see how a snake's level of deadliness is ascertained. Thank You.

  • Yes the inland taipan (fierce snake) is the deadliest. We have the top 3 poisonous in oz..yay.

  • wtf is this? they totally mixed things up, the worlds deadliest snake is not the same as the worlds most dangerous snake. deadliest snake refers to the potency of the venom, dangerous refers to the amount of human deaths can occur from the snake. the most tovix land snake is the inland taipan, and the eadliest snake in the world is a sea snake, i forget which species tho

  • tai pan

  • The Attenborough was spot on.

  • your all wrong its the royal python :P

  • australia has the worlds top ten

  • taipans are the world deadliest mate no worries.

  • I think is the black mamba.

  • You guys have obviously not seen a king cobra - I've seen one in the wild - must have been atleast 15 feet in length. That thing could stand up and kiss you. The amount of venom that goes into a king cobra bite is more than any other snake in the world.

What that phoney indian guy holds in the video is nowehere close to a what a real king cobra looks like. In any case most snake charmers have ordinary cobras, which are about 5 feet and are different genus from king cobras.

  • Bhidu it was a joke.

  • Bhidu, the Inland Taipan is the most poisonous snake in the world. The deadliest is the King Cobra, only because you do not have high levels of anti venom in stock unlike a OZ. Also because the location of the Inland Taipan is not in a high population zones (hence Inland), unlike the Indians who breed like rabbits. Kings can also grow upto 18feet.

  • AaronCraze, I WASN'T saying that the King Cobra is THE deadliest snake. I was merely saying that the "King Cobra" represented in the video was not even close to a what a real King Cobra looks like.

As for the "deadliest" /"dangerous" snake - I guess it all depends on what factors are considered and which factors carry more weight.

  • "unlike the Indians who breed like rabbits" - I am tempted to respond with equally uncharitable comments about Australians - except that:

    a) I am not sure you are Australian

    b) Australians that I've met were really nice people (you would be the first exception).

  • ROFLMAO!

  • Appreciate that bhidu. Most of us quite hospitable. There are just a few conspicuous cretins amongst us that go against the grain.
