That is unbelieveably sexy. I love that yellow!!!!! I have the same set up as you. I like having the ride where you have it. I took out the middle tom and put a clamp and the ride there instead. I love how you got the bass sounding. You don't need a stupid pillow. People who don't know how to tune do that. I took me a while to learn how to tune properly. I love the ring, it sounds great!

Thanks alot for the kind words. I use a Aquarian Superkick II batter and a Powerstroke 4 reso with no muffling inside.

@ChrisGirth , I use a Superkick 2, and I love it. I kept the stock Tama front head, but I put in a remo muffle ring inside and it sounds awesome.

I bought the kit for 275 bucks and refinished it myself, not much to spend on a beginner kit. I was born ready for a custom kit. Once again, I never claimed to be a good drummer. I'm more proud of my refinishing job.

What are the sizes of the drums?

Drums are 12x9, 16x16, 22x18 and the snare is a 13x6. I have the 13" tom that came with the kit but I hate that size of a tom. However I love 13" snare drums. I know its strange. Thanks for checking it out.

It was a black wrapped finish which makes it alot easier. Ive done laquered drums before and you cant stain them like I did this one. With laquered drums all you can really do is sand until you get to the paint and then primer, repaint then laquer. You wont be able to get a real professional finish without the proper equipment and ALOT of work. The titanium fade is sweet anyway, I would leave it. I bought this kit specifically for a project. Few things to clear up. I know the video doesnt line up with the sound. Im not an amazing drummer and I wasnt trying to shred. I just thought it would be pointless to show it and not let you hear it. I refinished this kit myself and opinions are encouraged (good and bad). and I am better looking than Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas and Denzel. Enjoy!
