If you weren't there, you can't be expected to understand =) I'd never heard her sing it in this octave before, and acoustics were perfect, giving it just a slight echo.
I was at that concert with my wife shortly after i met her. It was one of the most amazing concerts I've been to. The end was phenominal. Thanks for the memory :)
This is why i lovee massive attack! Portishhead is awesome too... but massive attack has Liz.... noone is more sensual but errie at the same time as her!! Check out silver spring too! AWESOME SONG... fastfoward you'll like it!
This version is okay but it takes away the sex appeal that is the booming base and her sultry voice mixed with the errie sound of the keys of that piano from the origonal version.
