I always found this song to be extremely monotonous. It's too slow, the chorus is trite, and it never builds any real interest. Not a good choice for a CD.

@cosg9531 Yes they may. But they sealed for eternity with their first spouse as long as they still keep the covenant in the Temple. We believe that marriage is not till death do us part like any regular civil marriage.
@oncom2008 Then what happens to the second spouse? Are they just set adrift in the spiritual realm, with no eternal partner? Forever alone, because the first spouse is with their wife or husband? Sounds rather unfair to the second spouse, doesn't it? Like a cruel contradiction, or simply total nonsense, in the first place.

This is one of the first songs I heard from his more current set lists and it really works for him. I absolutely love his voice, even more today than when I was crazy about him @ 16! He just keeps getting better & he's still hot!! Hubby doesn't mind and will surprise me by playing one of their old LPs "out of the blue", which always makes me smile. Thanks for the post!
I got to meet donny and marie backstage at the Flamingo three weeks ago during the meet and greet. They were so nice. I would love to go see them again.
Honestly, I never liked this song. It would get on my nerves(the vocals i guess). Then when I bought Donny Osmonds CD I skipped the song every single time I listened to it. Well, one day as I was about to press the button to go to the next song, my hand just hovered over my CD player and I heard the beginning of the song. To make a long story short...I love this song but only if Donny Osmonds sings it!!! That song is so sweet and Donny is the only one who could make the song come to life!!!
