Albarn has performed this song in every single concert, including the ones without Coxon, that Blur has performed. He has said that its an adrenaline shot to himself in concerts and its short so he doesn't get bored.

I am always amazed by people who get all pissed about songs sounding different live. I HATE it when I go to a show and the band sounds EXACTLY the same as they do on the CD. This song CANNOT possibly sound the same live as it does on the CD because of the way it was recorded (Dave and Graham both doing drums, the "guitar" actually bass ran through a distortion) but that doesn't mean it is bad. I love it when bands change things up. Can you imagine doing the exact same show every single night?

You do have a point about this recording, Damon Albarn doesn't seem to nail it and Graham Coxon was givin way more prominence on the guitar. However, I remember wen I saw Blur perform this live at Reading I certainly didn't think there was anything wrong with the song live. Problems which occur to you while watching a live reocrding often aren't there at the actual perfomance because you get swept up in the atmosphere. But this isn't a particularly good performance.
