I certainly agree Scientology is not a religion, and for the most part, is a load of none-working nonsense. The same can be said said about a lot of other things however.

Though I support a person's right to believe in anything they choose (Scientology included) that support stops at the point where it becomes a dangerous practice or makes one "indulge" in criminal activities. I believe a lot of the teachings of LRH are ant-social, harmful, dangerous, and downright evil.

Many of the lower level courses in Scientology could be described as helpful - though as noted, there's nothing in Scientology that couldn't be found in a thousand other self help books - but the more upper level materials you study, the more of a menace to society, and indeed yourself, you can become.

I don't think Scientology should be banned. It should be stripped right back to the bare essentials and all the bigoted, anti-social, and obscene parts removed. That will never happen however.

It kind of disturbs me now that a lot of scientologists seem to think that it's just the current management thats wrong with the organization, and they think LRon was a benevolent god. They fail to realize that the exact type of abuses took place under his control, seeing how he's the one who invented all these abuses.

There's a lot of talk of "reform" in the church now, but i dont think it's possible. If you took all the negative aspects of it all away....there wouldnt be anything left.

Agreed. The Freezone may be the lesser of two evils but that is still evil. They also pursuit "the psychs" like witch hunters, they also tell people to not take their meds, they support NarCONon which is a dangerous program, etc. And my first (of many) death threats here on YT was by a Freezoner.
