PS. if your smart there's an easier way to do this SC then jumping of to the lava.. use it instead its quicker!!

you gotta do what he does to begin with. You gotta run into the back lava to get a little start so you can use a mini turbo, in TT's you just boost up there, but you don't have a boost to start with in a normal race

Actually just get even with them. When doing grumble volcano on 150cc or mirror, go backwards like they do. Once it drops you down, go to the ramp and just sit and block the corner so they can't get up. They will try, but they WILL fail! I do this all the time, once the fail, I do the short cut and win the race just to make them even madder!

look closely at :40 and :44 secs. I have found these are the key locations to get the laps to count. At the :40 location stay wide there. At the :44 location you'll see a line in the rock graphics and I aim to drive directly over it.

So far on wi-fi I have gotten up there using the Bullet Bike, Mach Bike and Bowser Bike but I found it easiest with the Bowser Bike. The wheelie isn't that important. What is most important is to hit the right spot.

Don't worry, I think nearly everyone has this problem when they first try. There are two important places where you need to drive:

1. On the last left turn, stay as high up on the peak as possible.

2. Afterwards the last left turn, make sure you go forward far enough on the rock to pass the finish line.
