Yes, I also remember a better version of this song. The one I remember was from the year 1990; I know this because it was always on TV commercials during the Italia '90 World Cup, as was a Coca-Cola advert I remember so well. Nearly 20 years on now, but so vivid in memory :)

Thank you so much for putting this on here. It does sound a bit different,to what I remember, but I loved this music. I have tried to find it everywhere. I was ill when this advert was around, and even if I had dozed off to sleep I would wake as soon as it came on. Its very haunting.

haha i used to love this ad! although i seem to remember the song having more of a punch to it and getting louder and louder with lots of dfferent sections singing the lines comming in at different times building up to a big ending. ok i'm going on a bit now. i guess i was only like 7 so when ive been singing it in my head recently ive been doing so through rose tinted glasses. lol.

This reminds me of 6 am in the morning it was the advert played before the likes of GMTV! Dad was going out to work and mum was getting ready for work and my gran would come to look after me!.. amazing! love it!

Yep, brings back memories all right! This ad was shown on and off in the UK between late '90 & Summer '92, mostly early in the morning. But this long version was only shown occasionally - the one shown most was an edited 30 sec version which started with a quick shot of the sunrise and the explorer getting up straight away. The song was cut down to just the first part without the stronger full chorus section. I didn't like this edit as it made out only one person in the whole parade was singing!
