I did not find out about this amazing show till it was already off the air but I was going through my 1st lesbian breakup so this show really hit home for me! Now I have all 6 seasons but I would love a movie of the L word!!!!

For every good review TLW got, it got another slamming it. Not on critical merit but because it was about lesbians. Those critics, who shape culture, should be ashamed of themselves.

I know me too ( I love her performances}. I think many reason stem from the basis of the show b/c it was a groundbreaking show that had some pretty important issues in terms of sexuality, love, race, class, relationships etc but yet people tend to focus more on the fact that it is a GLBT show and that sought of denied them from getting any form of nomination from the Emmy boards. I guarantee if it wasn't a GLBT show they would've reaped alot of awards. JB ROCKS

This shows that Bette has serious issues. I think that the controlling part in her is scared that T is actually gaining more of her indpnce by being on her own. She's scared that T won't need her anymore. However, she, like the therapist suggests, should be glad that T is becoming a stronger person.
