  • I'll try and post a more recent driver swing comparison of Tiger face on. But he has definitely gravitated towards a more centered pivot, and inward hand path.

  • i dont think these two swings are really comparable considering the video of tiger was taken in like 2005 with his ol swing which isnt really a stack and tilt at all

  • @95gashead Its good for a contrast/not quite a comparison...

  • Tiger's set up is of a man who drives a walmart's distance away from Charlie Wie...

  • anyone else left on tour still with the stack n tilt? BTW Wie's ball-striking stats are near the bottom on tour, but his awesome short game saves him.

  • Athletic swings will always beat all the other BS

  • tiger's looks far more of a natural movement to me

  • More guys are stack and tilt now than you would think.

  • Outstanding analysis! Golf is such a difficult game, there are many different ways to get the job done. Too many view the game the way religious zealots look at whatever god they worship - their way or the highway. Look at how dramatically different Hogan & Snead's swings are, no "swing purity" there.

  • Are you kidding me? 14 majors vs 0

  • Another superb analysis, Zach. Look at how CW's halfway-down position has hardly any body behind the ball, ie no body-mass to put into impact. The 'Minimalist Golf Swing' is the perfect combination of more width with no movement, as it pre-sets body-mass behind the ball. It's based on 16 years biomechanics research. Please see my 2 videos explaining bits of it by typing into youtube search:
