God ceased work for sure @ the end of the 6th day. On the 7th he rested. Jesus created all or in other words Jesus rested. Note there is no 8th day the 7th never ends. This is a shadow of God's plan. The law was given which man [the Jews] had to keep [work]. Christ finished his work @ Calvery bringing a fading away of the law. So Jesus=rest. Just as the 7th day never ends neither does his rest 'cause we are under grace not law. This is why we can worship any day of the week.
