tsunamis have giant backs, unlike regular waves that come and go in nice little intervals up down up down.. tsunamis go up............................ then down. and inland

u know tsunamies arent as big as you expect because tsunamies come from a earthquake so the power isnt in the size it is under the wave this is why it comes that far on land. Even if there would be a 30m wave would come as far as a 2m tsunami wave
