Oh, so that's why the moon has a giant strip of blood on it in the Rebuild movies, its because of giant Rei/Lilith dying..... except Rebuild is a remake of the original series, not a continuation, so that makes no fucking sense and creates a really weird twist in an already extremely warped story
So when I first saw this, I was like "I don't get it..." then I re-watched it years later and was like "Ohhh, I kinda get it now..." and now? "omg! I FUCKING GET IT!". Dude who made this is a GENIUS! About time something with this much substance was made. People probably won't look past the religious pretenses to actually understand though. ^_^
