The mare is Arab, the stallion is Fresian. Suppose to be the Sire from the stars...the Horsehead Nebula...sire of Shetan. Artistic license...the foal IS Arab.

a Quarter Horse stallion crossed with a haflinger , will not produce a Quarter horse foal. As for color, it doesnt have to do with sire/dam of the animal it has to do with its own genetic string code.

Yes, the mare, and both versions of Shettan (foal and full grown stallion) are all Arabians. Actually I think that the only horse in the movie that wasn't an Arab was the black stallion that came down from he skies in the extra, who was a Fresian.
