Holy shit that isnt metal at all. Metal is Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica (pre Black album), Slayer, Black Sabbath, Mastodon, Dream Theatre, etc, etc. Rammstein, Slipknot, Korn, and stuff like that is nu-metal which is to say not metal at all. More like lame white noise rock. Try some Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, or Joe Satriani. They're instrumental but they play fucking awesome rock and metal which would probably cater to your noob metal senses.
