I know this will sound like a stupid question. I know that George doesn't drink tap water. But what did you guys used to drink before bottled water became popular? Is there a problem with the water? I live in Oz and we have very little water, but it is clean as anything. When I have lived in China the water would make me so sick (and the people are pretty unhygienic.)

We have fluoride in our water here. Mainly for our teeth. In Oz water filtures are pretty much unless (unless you have OCD) as the water from the tap is fine. Though some parts of the country have what we call "dry water"...you can't get suds from shampoo. If you find fluoride a problem that is cool, I will not argue that. I am just wondering how things worked before bottled water. Little things like this interest me. Cheers.

I had a plot in a community garden for10 years, every so often, fellow gardeners complained something had "gone missing." (My largest zucchini dissapeared one summer.) In "good" times.
