Damn people, this is a SPOOF. Anyway, thanks for posting this, I've been looking for this commercial for YEARS!!! It only aired a few times in '95, before it was taken off the air forever, because the Bond producers sued Honda!!! Only because the character name of the guy was ... James!

It was a little more than just because the guy's name was "James Bob" when they first thought it up. The court said it was copyright infringement. It's a pretty bad decision in my opinion, for a variety of reasons.

Short and sweet: the Bond producers were pissed because it was going to dilute their brand, and their ability to have Aston Martin pay for their cars to be in the movies. It's more about trademark than copyright.
