Question... before I buy the game, I want to be sure i can do want I intend.

Can me and my friend run around the ENTIRE map, separate from each other if we want, trade things with each other, do quests, buy houses, hunt animals... basically do whatever we want with no limitations?

@APR1125 Its a channel based multiplayer similar to Diablo 2. Each channel has a max 50 players and is a closed town where you can trade with other players. From this town you create 'adventure runs' with a max 8 players.

This is why multi-classing is good. Magic system is a lot of fun, but unless you pump your spells sufficiently, and that takes a lot of cash and time, it's not as powerful as it might seem.

Just wondering, where did you get your copy? I want to get this on xbox, and I wonder if the multiplayer is worth it as I have been looking for a game to play with a mate that resembles a modern day diablo but xbox live type.. this seems perfect though it got cancelled in the UK so I was thinking eBay? and as before, is the multiplayer fun enough for hours on hours of griniding and what is the max level?

While I love the magic system in this one, I did love the effects in the first Two Worlds more. You could bring down meteors, set fields on fire, send a wall of fire splitting up large groups of enemies, or if all else fails, surround yourself in fire and wait for your mana to regain.

Mana regen in this game is sick. i a not sure how you keep running out but even my warrior with very little casting ability can keep full mana and spam out his buffs.

@trentmccoytv Not really. mana past level 12 is trivial in this game. Hardest part of the "necro" style is just getting the cards which is only a time sink. Just wait in the first adventure town (on multiplayer) for a long ass time till you have 10+ of each type.

@ThorDog81 Yeah, I've learned that. I rented it an I'm a Maxed Necromancer. Level 50 in 8 hours :) I have the Archmaster Necro Robes, hat, etc. Idk, Im pretty sure it's the best possible.. It boosts my mana to 169K total mana and my willpower is boosted to about 1476, I guess.

Um not quite sure never played multiplayer yet..still grounded rofl..but u should start ff with a necro staff and if u want a better one like a archmage or something try going to the undead maps and killing the mages there ..they are prob necro's..or look for vendors who sell staffs etc^^..

@knightmare141 In multiplayer the easiest way to buy yourself necro stuff (cards and staffs) is to go to the first adventure world and find one in one of the corners. He's usually just called a citizen or something similar. I guess this is because he's a spooky vendor and necromancy is banned oooh~

or can you only sell them to NPC vendors. Maybe drop them to the ground and do a trade by trust?

@millertime6888 Yes you can target another player and hit trade. When you trade items you also get like a summarize of how much the items you are trading are worth.

@Ntzbr Very true. Right now there's a major bug with the spray modifier card that works in both single and multiplayer. Placing on the first row a projectile with max spray cards and then going to the second row to place the actual damage you can make low mana cost spells that deal massive damage to everything on screen - meaning you can walk through all the multiplayer adventures solo as a mage. Similiar bugs are on the other classes that can render them overpowered.

@ps2yea this is the final product. its out in europe, and its just sitting there finished, but southpeak was afraid of this game being overshadowed by popular titles here in the west, so they delayed it here untill Janurary. Fuckin bastards. Dont know what their afraid of, it looks better then anything this generation of consoles has in my opinion.

@ps2yea This is the full game on the PC. Naturally we can expect patches. Infact they have already released one. Some bugs still exist but here's hoping they get fixed. I hate to admit it but it feels like the PC users are paying beta testers for the console release, however that's just bitterness speaking. It's still a fantastic game worthy of checking out. I even chose it to my Game of The Year on our forums for the PC platform. :)

@DeezNutz508 The game has a lobby system. You go into a town and select if you want to enter someone elses' arena, adventure, town etc. Yes, you get your own town in this game and there is PvP. However thanks to bugs that make some characters OP I have no interest in battling against other players right now. Maybe in the future?

I think the co-op campaign and single player campaign look kickass though, and I'm sure I'll stick to them two mainly but it's nice to have a PVP mode when most RPGs dont.

@KhratosHD There is a free class system which means you start off as tabula rasa and can develop into anything. Of course in the multiplayer you have to choose a "starting kit". There's a melee with two handed, melee with shield and sword, melee with dual wield, melee with polearm, ranger and five mage archetypes; fire, water, necromancer, earth and air. You can later master all elements and become quite versatile.
