@MsBkirk Thanks for comment - if I had the budget I'd like to make a fantastic' film. By the way the engine of my Ford Focus (featured in the film greatly speeded up) blew up not long afterwards. Obviously fame was much too much for it.
Hey, I haven't heard this for maybe a third of a century but this brings back happy memories of 1977 like it was yesterday.
Many thanks for putting this clip together and posting. What a great sound! Like the Beach Boys, only in 3D.
(also puts me in mind of the likes of Pilot 'Get up and go' and the Bros Johnson Strawberry letter 23 and CJ and Co's Devil's Gun - yeah, I know, NONE of those made the charts either - maybe they were ALL ahead of their time. Go figure!!!)
I was actually on the Isle of Skye last May doing some filming. My sat nav toook me near to the Vital Spark studio but there was no sign indicating exactly where it was. He must want his privacy now
great job with the vid, love the bit at 1.09 reminds me of summer 1977 at our local fairground, (barry island plesure park in south wales) where on a friday night it was cheap nite on the rides and this tune was played on countless occasions via the fair disco thanks for posting brings back happy days brill.
Thanks for kind message - I'm currently working on two more of his songs including the much delayed Solid State Brain. Should have been editing today but the weather was just too nice!
Just feel like I need to say many thanks again to you D. I have just shown this to the rest of my family and they love Chris Rainbow now. I forgot how wonderful this song was and I love it as much as when I when I first heard iit when I was building balsa wood gliders with my neighbours and the sounds on the radio where Chris Rainbow, Andrew Gold, and the Alessi Brothers...Wow !!
Hi. just to say amazing. I work in video post editing a lot of the time and you have done an amazing job my friend. The music was bouncy, explains the video as your watching it, the beat of the music in line perfectly with the videos clip change overs. I watches it 5 times. The singer I take it is Living in the world today by Chris Rainbow?. I have been many many years outside the UK so I don't know. But I would love to buy this album. Thanks again and I have subscribed
Thanks for comment - I set (for myself) a world record in editing this together - only two hours! Some of his records are still available. I wrote a review for one on Amazon uk
Thanks I've got about 17 videos on here (I also make private ones for friends of family) My Focus is 10 years old so don't take her above 65 - hence all the white vans overtaking.
I am impressed. I thought it was a pro video that you had borrowed. I play the keyboards and after playing that song at least 10 times now have just picked up the tune. I noticed all the white vans overtaking, If I had seen mine that would have finished me off !!
You are a star, thankyou so much for that. It was just as good as I remember it and memories of being 14 flooded back. Where did the video come from? I work as a Courier now and that really was a coincidence !!! Thanks once again.
Hi I make my own videos. I had a time lapse camera fixed inside my car for a trip to Yorkshire. Just seemed to fit the chaotic nature of life the song is describing. Just finished off Solid State Brain by Chris.
Hold on as you're going to get dizzy.................Yip ,,,and still spinning to this fantastic song.

Thanks for kind comment. I had some footage of a time lapse film I made on a trip to the North of England. I though it might fit the song ok
