I didn't listen this Clapton song for many years - or actually the album on which this one originally was, because the sounds were "so 80s" - independent of the great guitar solo at the end of the song. I've seen Eric play this live though and the live version was much better to my ears - less produced, less clinical:)

Your version is cool, because it doesn't just follow the original, but improvises nicely around the basic themes. Me likes, five stars!

This is a Custom Shop '56 Mary Kaye Closet Classic Strat with a snappy ash body and gold hardware.

The birdseye maple neck has the soft V-shape profile Clapton likes so much and beautiful abalone dot inlays on the fretboard. A trio of Fat '50 single-coils and a 5-way switch deliver all the familiar Strat tones everyone knows and loves.
