@mordanai In fact shooting 300 on 1 lane might be even harder than shooting on 2. Think about it, sure it's only ONE lane you have to figure out, but keep in mind that with 1 lane for both players bowling the ENTIRE game on 1 lane; that means the amount of traffic on the lane is DOUBLED compared to "regular" 2 lanes. Plus, it's in a hotter, brightly lit televised setting. So that in combination with more balls going down the 1 lane and you have to fight through a LOT of transition. VERY TOUGH

These are synthetic twister pins...if you can read, the pins have the twister logo on the side. You can also tell by the sound when the ball hits them that they are not wood pins.

This went out live on tv so the lights are set up for for the cameras. It is not in a bowling centre either but one lane set up in a sports hall. Having live bowling on tv in the UK is a rare and welcome sight, so we are not going to knock it.

they should have been GSX pinsetters complete leisure set the lane up. And the reason the pins are 'falling easier' is that they are twister pins. Hit light or half pocket and they shake around but the square bases give u stupid ringing 10s/7s and stone 8s/9s in the pocket.

no, no, having brand-new pins makes it HARDER for u to knock pins downs. u have to throw perfect shots. if u look at every shot u see a messenger take out the 10-pin a couple of times. that's because TJ put so much power into his shot that he gets good pin-action.
