I'm a 14 ear old girl and I can't dive yet, I don't really need to and my kit isn't protective enough but someday I want to be that good. Those helmets are lethal, look down to quickly and you cut off your air supply.

I once did a head first on (how u say it in english) fake grass? You know with the sand. But anyway, my arm were covered in blood cuz I was at a really high speed and landed on my arms. ( I wear a normail field hockey shirt... With short sleeves)

@jemeryg How can you say that if you doesn't know what happened? Maybe he landed on his toque. Or just on his chest very bad. Out of experience I can say; that does hurts! :)

@KidOfEighteen yeah, i agree. I guess he landed on his chin when he made the 3rd save. I also use a mask like him, its good against headshots lol, but when u dive like this, it really hurts

I agree! If you don't land probably on a head first or a dive like this, it can beat the air right out of your lungs. You'd definetly need a minute to get your breath back :)

ive taken shots to the helmet before. couldn't see if thats what happened, but even in a good helmet your ears are going to ring and you'll see stars. agreed with commentators on the athleticism, amazing keeping
