Just rode it this week. Didn't like it... DON'T do it if you have the slightest bad back or neck - I did and regretted it. Manta was super smooth. Even sheirka was smoother than Rip Ripe. That's my 2 cents.

ok, i have a friend who knows THE manager of Universal Orlando Resort, who is also overseeing the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, and my friend just talked to him today and he, the manager, said that everything is going great for that Rockit, and that if things continue to go well then the ride will be opening on Sunday, August 16, 2009!!!!!! I promice you I am NOT making this up, and that means that for now, the official opening date for the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is August 16, 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!

the chain-lift is vertical the drop however is not

universal studios... hollywood rip ride rockitt.. 2009..Islands of adventure..Harry Potter..2010..cant wait.. at least both parks get a upgrade...a new island for islands of adventure.. a the most high tech roller coaster in the world for universal studios cant wait lol

this thing is supose to be 17 stories and go 65 mph. Also it is going to film to ride while your on it and you get to pick the music your lidtening to as you ride it. :O

looks nice its good they made it in universal studious not in islands of adventure so there is a balance of rides that flip between them

I went there this weekend and last weekend. the progress throughout the park is pretty slow. Almost looks as if they are working more on whatever is in the HUGE building in the Harry Potter section. But nonetheless i think it will be AMAZING!!!
