i hate the ending because that's not what happened in the book!!! I feel sad for Dorian because he was a naive, innocent lad until that nutter Henry corrupted him, and the film made Henry look like the good character!!! WRONG.

Oh dear. Oh dear indeed. What is it with modern adaptations and unnecessarily adding grey-o-vision and 'Van Helsing Gothic' elements to what is otherwise an incredibly brilliant story? it doesn't work if everything is dull and grey: it has to be ridiculously decadent and colourful so that the contrast between Gray and his portrait is more marked!
