People have said earlier that Jesse Lacey is uncaring with his fans. that irks me, though i have no eye witness account, you know?

But, Jesse talks a lot about not really liking the whole crazed-fan, autograph signing extravaganza - even in his songs. He just seems reserved, and maybe nervous. Not everyone who is in a band is going to be great with people. Even Jesse Lacey, who is a beautiful and talented musician to say the least. And has made it clear that he isn't perfect socially.

Well, I'm just going on the fact that I've talked to several people who said that at shows that they went to, he told them to wait outside afterwards to meet them and then he just left, and also that when they met him, he acted like he totally didn't even care.

He probably does care about his fans, but I've heard theories that he only does it for the money. *shrug*

there is a interview with him that he talks about how obsessive he and the band are with their music, they spend so much time on it just to get it to where it is acceptable to them....if he was only in it for the money he wouldn't put forth so much effort

I saw them on 4/20 (and yes, he was high as a kite), and he said "this songs seventy times seven to end the show.. knowing that they don't play it anymore, i didn't think it was true.. and it wasn't. He said that, then walked off the stage, and wouldn't come back for an encore. Last Brand New show I'll ever attend.. not because they didn't play it, but because he was a DICK about it.
