I came to this review as the game is $5 on Steam today but the amount of negativity in this review doesn't even make it sound like an objective review at all, rather a haters rant. I haven't played the game yet but I certainly will not be basing this poor review as a way to form an educated decision!

Ironically the reviewer just convinced me to go buy this game. I'm serious. I am a big fan of the Hitman games and Velvet Assassin seems to be right down that alley according to what footage I've just watched. Who wouldn't want to sneak around and do the stabby stab to a few Nazis? Thanks!

P.S. The reviewer did not say a single good thing about the game, therefore this is a biased video and his words are meaningless.

@JackassCKY44 Yeah I'd say it's worth playing. The game basically teaches you how to play it, the mechanics are a lot simpler than Hitman so I was able to get used to it fast. However the gun aiming can be hard and you can miss easily, so aim them carefully and at close range.

Your review was shit. This is one of the best games out. For stealth anyway, it sure beats the shit outta the new Splinter Cell. This game is more like the old school Splinter Cell, only you play as a hot chick.

Don't let this idiot review be your guide. If you like stealth then you will love this game.

Saw: mediocre gfx and there's absolutely no reason to replay it once you finished the game. Velvet Assassin: pretty decent gfx imo, if you care for the achievements you'll play it again. I just love stealth games and that's why I finished it again just a couple of hours ago.

50 Cent: haven't played it... A 3rd person action shooter always fills the void, I guess? It's up to you...

Btw: There is no such things as "booring kills".

Most ppl who played VA couldnt complete even first level cuz game is hard even on EASY mode. If you cant complete first level, you will think what game suck for sure.

This game is irritating at places. Nazzi fallowing you were ever you sneak without even noticing you, "looking for" animation and a Nazzi walking right to you and randomly changing dirrections, as you do.

If a game is TOO hard then that can be a negative thing. Another thing than can be a negative is a game that is sometimes too easy and sometime too hard.

I haven't played Velvet Assassin and have no opinion on it. I just wanted to tell you that unbalanced difficulty can be worth a bad review.

That being said, I actually tend to like hard games better and hate games that don't feel challenging. If I don't die at least once, the game isn't worth playing.

This game isn't that bad you just have to have some patience to play it. The reason they saw her through the wall was probably because the guard got close to her. But its true that the AI is stupid, and people usually die or fail a lot on these sort of games.

I'm a big fan of the Splinter Cell series and I've finished all of them more than 15 times in total, and I don't see how this game is a rip off Splinter Cell.

The game it's unique in its own way but the frustrating trial and error hardly makes up for the great atmosphere. I'll try and finish it though.
