this is clearly an animal that is just showing its fore body part. there is a long body underwater that is not visible for sure. there are clearly distortions on the surface behind the visible part that proofs vertically movements of this animal. and as it descend that gently, a turtle can't do this so gently and the distortions behind indicates a long body about 10m. a fake would not know about the exactly style of whirly movements a vertical fin like motion would do like this... genuine!!

complete nonsense. i fish this lake regularly and the only thing ive ever seen swimming in the water were deer and moose. obvisouly this is neither but get real. the amount of boat traffic on this lake and noone has any close ups?
This is clearly a fake to me guys, sorry. Check out the Champ Abc news video or the 5/25/10 sighting videos to see the real thing. This to me is some dude with scuba gear and a few beers fuckin around.
WHOA WAIT!!! Look at the water when it's getting closer to shore. There like a black line witch looks like the body in the lake. Or it's otters swimming.
since it raised some of its body out of the water that kinda excludes deer or turtles, neither can accomplish that while swimming in water over their heads. Besides, although its hard to get distance measurements, that would be the biggest fresh water turtle ever! Lmao
Also when iv'e seen turtles swim it is always just there head sticking out and sometimes a bit of back! Not half the turtle with it trying to stretch its neck way out!
At 1:21 we see a secondary protrusion extend briefly above the surface .. I'm imagining a giant anaconda-like creature .. calmly swimming in a side to side fashion .. other surficial disturbances are cogent with such an hypothesis. It's definitely a physical protrusion and not a random wave @ 1:24. It's Fortean.
So the monster is probably 30 feet from the viewer.
Loren Coleman visited the site himself and suggests that everyone should start downsizing the size of the creature. Maybe next season, someone will get some real (not snapping turtle) footage.
its a good idea in theory but in all fairness the government or a bunch of scientists are just gonna claim it as theirs by some shitty by law and do experiments on it and end up killing it or leaving it horrible disfigured:/ then again they might not! who knows haha
Loren Coleman visited this cove and you can see from his pix that it is much smaller and the buoy much closer than this video suggests. Also notice how the waves lapping up on shore in the beginning are actually interacting with the wake from the animal (turtle) , because it is really close to the camera.
This is one of our many large snapping turtles in lake Champlain. I've seen them do this exactly the way Eric has it in his video. People are getting the wrong impression with the illusion of it being longer than it is . Its caused by the reflection of the sun rise. If you watch the video, the sun rise is in perfect position to reflect off the wake of the turtle. I cannot be one hundred percent sure but at least 90% sure that this just captures one of the biggest turtles in Vermont.
Is that a turtle? :D

Distance to buoy was established at 60 feet.
So the monster is probably 30 feet from the viewer.

I've filmed alot of vids on fish and oceanic creatures. Thats no turtle. A turtles head is much much smaller.

Someone needs to get a big net and some stones and just capture the beast when they see it.

This one is def a Snapper. They like a nice quiet morning swim.
Has anyone got the ABC news video of Champ from a couple years back ?
They pulled it off offline because the 2 fishermen who shot the video realized that it was the goods.
They want money. Hey Monster Quest ... buy it from them please.

This video could be compelling evidence for the existence of Champ... or is there a rational explanation???
Please visit my blog, I'm hoping to put together footage of people around lake champlain who believe and don't believe in Champ.
